“We don’t even know where to start with this review! From the start, Ben and his team took our and our family’s questions about how to approach our wedding. With half of our family being Latino, it took some time to find the right fit in the area. We wanted a good mix where the entire room could have fun and feel included. Ben absolutely nailed it day of. We’ve heard from multiple guests how they’ve never seen a wedding dance floor full for the whole wedding like at ours and how there was music for everyone. Aside from that, Summit invested time in us before the wedding through multiple planning calls and their awesome app where we can slowly build out our event with preferences. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

Mike was very responsive, easy and fun to plan with, and great with communication leading up to the wedding. “Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

During our conversations he shared that he sang at local establishments. Our first musical encounter was at winery during the Christmas season. We were hooked immediately !! and compelled to share Scott’s talents and story with our friends and family. Scott’s presence in the room creates an environment that is calm yet festive. When Scott is singing you willingly become his captive audience. Scott’s intentional serenade feels personal though in reality the whole audience has been engaged. The breadth of Scott’s talent has yet to be revealed. Sure he is refined in opera and one of the best crooners and we have seen him perform solo and with a band. Every venue every performance has been enjoyable and memorable. It is so exciting to see Scott continue to spread his musical wings to share his gift with more people. “David Gould was the entertainment for our wedding reception, and he did a fabulous job. The theme was magic carpet ride and he learned that song, and he nailed it. We requested more than a half dozen songs he played them all and played others similar. For example, we requested a James Taylor song and he played several other James Taylor songs. The very first time I spoke with Erica I just fell in love with her warmth, kindness, professionalism and confidence. We laughed so much on the first call I knew immediately I had to hire her. After the call, my fiancé said that musician you spoke with made you so happy you better just hurry up and hire her. I never even spoke to another musician…I knew none could even come close to Erica. I hired Erica in July for my December Disney wedding. I never felt rushed, overwhelmed or anything stressful. Erica is so kind, her voice is ethereal and she knows how to read a room. She even recommended an amazing officiant to me when I was struggling to find one. Erica was the hit of my wedding, when she started singing to open the ceremony a bird flew up to her, perched next to her and sang with her. Even the bird wanted to be close to her and felt her kindness. This was the most beautiful moment and my guests are still talking about it. I wanted a Disney/Christmas wedding theme and Erica delivered in every aspect. She was also beautifully dressed and looked gorgeous (nobody wants sloppy vendors lol). Erica created the perfect atmosphere by intertwining romantic Disney music as well as Christmas songs. Erica made the wedding a dream come true. The fact that she is well known also helps, as most vendors and venues love working with her. She learned a few new songs for me and worked seamlessly with my other vendors to create the perfect, yes absolutely perfect, day. Thank you Erica! You are a true star!”
