“I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Windy City Glam. From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, everything felt thoughtful, organized, and deeply personal. Celeste and Alex were not only incredibly talented but also genuinely lovely to be around. And having Catherine who owns Windy City Glam and is also a close friend and one of my bridesmaids, made it feel all the more special. We got ready at the Hyatt House in West Loop, which isn’t the most spacious or salon-like spot for hair and makeup. But Celeste and Alex showed up early, fully prepared, and made the space work so seamlessly you’d think they set up there all the time. The room felt calm and happy, exactly what you want on a wedding morning. Celeste did makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. We had done a trial beforehand, and I gave quite a bit of feedback on what I liked and what didn’t feel quite like me. She took every note seriously, and on the wedding day, it all came together perfectly. The look felt just right, elevated, soft, with sparkly eyeshadow and still very much me. I felt beautiful without feeling overdone. The makeup lasted through every emotion, every hug, every photo, and hours of dancing. She also gave so much care to the rest of the bridal party. Everyone looked incredible and felt comfortable and confident, which set the tone for the whole day. Alex styled everyone’s hair, and she was just as amazing. At our trial, I had tighter waves than imagined, and I mentioned wanting something a little softer. On the day of, she adjusted the style to make the waves looser and added pearl accents that made it feel more romantic, and I loved it. It held beautifully all day and night through wind and nonstop dancing. My bridesmaids and mom also looked gorgeous, with styles that fit each person’s hair type and vibe. Alex was calm, focused, and incredibly efficient, but she never made anyone feel rushed. She cared about how everyone felt walking out of that chair. Catherine was a huge help behind the scenes with planning the schedule. She organized the timeline for hair and makeup so well that we stayed on track the entire morning without feeling on a timer. That kind of planning and attention to detail made the day run much more smoothly and let me enjoy the getting-ready part instead of stressing about timing. What made Windy City Glam stand out is how personal and supportive the whole experience felt. Celeste and Alex are true professionals, but they’re also kind people who bring such good energy into the room. They made me feel like the best version of myself on one of the most meaningful days of my life. If you’re considering Windy City Glam, do it. “Tai was my makeup artist for my wedding, and she was wonderful to work with - professional, on time, kind, and patient throughout the entire process. I was pleased with my final look and felt like a more glam version of myself, which was what I wanted. Five of us had our makeup done, and Tai took great care with each person, especially my sister who has very sensitive skin and my mom whose makeup preferences were more specific. We also loved the touch-up kits provided for each of us. Tai was open to feedback both during my bridal trial and on the wedding day itself (pictures of my trial attached - realized I didn't take a good plain make up shots on the day of). Since I don’t have much experience with makeup terminology, it took us a little longer to get to what I wanted for my eye makeup and lip color. Tai was very accommodating as we adjusted a few things together. Looking back, I think seeing some colors swatched directly on my skin earlier in the process could have helped, especially since as a non-expert, it felt like we were on different pages trying to communicate. However, that probably isn’t specific to Lovely Beauty and would’ve been the case with myself and any make up artist. In any case, Tai’s willingness to collaborate and make adjustments was appreciated. Additionally, the Lovely Beauty Team was responsive to my emails and easy to work with throughout the planning process, and I would absolutely recommend them to other brides.”

“I loved working with AMG Beauty Bar. Everyone was so easy to work with and I loved that I was able to schedule a trial with enough time to make a final decision. I loved how responsive AMG was and also appreciated the ability to text them since it can be tricky finding time to communicate with every vendor once the 1 month mark hits. I do wish we discussed the need for a 3rd artist at the time of booking, but Ashley Gallo was able to connect with me right away and guide me through since I am not a wedding makeup expert! She added ease and gave me confidence for the day of execution. I did have a trial with Mia Peters, and I let her know I was looking for something a little more glam and on the day of and she absolutely hit the mark and beyond. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic and excited with how my makeup turned out. I would highly, highly recommend her for your bridal look. I felt so beautiful and wish the day didn’t have to end so I didn’t have to wash my makeup off! I got so many compliments too from guests and other vendors! I also worked with Mia since January to contour my brows. I had Misha pen eyebrows that were uneven and thin. Over a matter of months, Mia was able to help me grow them out and choose them to perfection with an eyebrow pop service every 5 weeks. It made a huge difference since my eyebrows were the frame of my wedding look! Similarly, Vanessa and Devyn Gregorio also did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing and their makeup complimented their features. If you’re considering AMG - book it! I can’t thank this group of women enough, including the receptionist! Thank you AMG!!!”

“How can I even begin to sum up Hazel and her work?! Hazel and I were truly brought together by fate. I was not even actively looking for a hair and makeup artist for my October wedding when fate brought us together at our favorite nail salon. Not to mention, Hazel was almost fully booked for October, and by the grace of God, she was available on my wedding date! From the moment I met Hazel, I knew she had such a special, light, and welcoming presence. On the morning of my wedding, I genuinely felt like I was getting ready with my best friend. I felt so pampered, comfortable, and surrounded by so much love, and Hazel and her team were such a huge part of making that morning so special. She brought the perfect energy to such an important day, and I am so grateful I got to spend those moments with her. AND let me tell you about the longevity of her work!! It poured rain on my wedding day, and despite all of that, my hair and makeup held up beautifully! I had the best wedding night and literally fell asleep in my hair and makeup. I woke up the next morning with my hair and makeup STILL FULLY INTACT!! A little frizzy, of course, but the style did not budge AT ALL.
