His earliest memories of deep musical inspiration were riding around with his uncle on Sundays, while listening to old school music. 6th Sense served in the USN for 10 years where he was blessed with the luxury of hearing a variety of different styles of music from different places, which translates to his unique spin on being an open-format DJ. After school he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the steel industry for 5 years. Living in New Orleans fueled his passion for music, and in April 2017 he left the steel industry to pursue music full time. His inspiration ranges from jazz, funk, soul, rock, blues, and much more. His diverse experience and fun loving character helps drive the focus of Sunny Side while still allowing time for several other music projects.

I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with Bachelor and Master degrees in music. I started my music career as a piano teacher. During that time, I learned to play the harp, which was something I always wanted to do. I fell in love with the harp’s beauty and sound and have been playing ever since.
