“Summit Events and DJ Sean Markland were amazing to work with! Do you want to have the most epic dance party of your life at your wedding? Do you want your guests on the dance floor all night? Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

On our actual wedding day, Lance went above and beyond, from showing up early to make sure everything was set up correctly, to recording our ceremony and first dance, and then staying until all the guests were out. We had a very high energy crew and he kept the party going the whole reception. The song transitions were 10/10. The day after our wedding we had multiple guests text us about how amazing our DJ was. “TD was amazing, professional yet laid back. He was recommended to us by our caterer, and after speaking with him on the phone, he was hired! He walked us though everything, and had a detailed form to fill out and get back to him about what kind of music we wanted or didn't want, when we wanted it played, and timeline for the event. We spoke on the phone about a week before the wedding to go over the paper, and he was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The day of the wedding, our timeline got moved around due to the health of a family member, and TD barely blinked an eye. He moved songs around for us easily, took examples of songs we had given him and expanded on them, and had everyone out on the dance floor after dinner. I would highly recommend TD and Sound Enforcement to anyone looking for a competent, professional and fun DJ.”

The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

“Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. It felt like he'd known for years, always hitting the right classic hit, the right remix, the right memory moments. He was such a kind and lovely man too. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!”

From the very beginning, their communication was excellent - they were very prompt in responding to our questions and made the entire process easy on our end. On the day of, he provided outstanding service, helping with bartending in addition to top-notch DJing. He kept the energy and vibes high all night, ensuring our guests were engaged and having a great time. The Selfie WiFi was a ton of fun for our guests as well.
