“We had Nick Wright as our "master DJ" for our June 2026 wedding at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Nick was AMAZING - he was open to every genre of music; including k-pop, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, video game music, early 2000s, and more! He walked us through the party pleasers app, which was fantastic. You could upload full spotify playlists straight into the app. The app also breaks down each section of wedding day for every song you may need (ceremony, cocktail hour, cutting the cake, dinner, dancing, etc.). Nick was super nice and was able to do our sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, full dinner and reception, and our grand exit. He was open to all our suggestions; and he brought up things to decide that we hadn't even considered! During the wedding, Nick made sure to check in with us personally and made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend party pleasers for the large selection of rentals, lighting, and their amazing DJs -especially Nick! Lastly, Nick was an amazing "game show host" for our scavenger hunt - we made sure the musical chairs were ready, mc'd the entire hunt, and played a different song for each item! The music was amazing - he played all of our must haves, followed our do-not-play list, and had some amazing early 2000s hip-hop mixes.”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“From the very beginning, Daniel exceeded every expectation. Daniel was extremely organized and followed up immediately after every meeting, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process. As an interracial couple blending of our cultures was important to us and having a bilingual DJ and MC was a non negotiable. Daniel was the perfect fit. He was very fairly priced and offered everything we were looking for, including CO2 guns, a Photobooth with an attendant, and the ability to personalize the Photobooth experience for our guests — all of which ran incredibly smoothly. It was helpful to have all of these things through one single vendor rather than multiple people to coordinate. What truly set him apart was how intentional and thoughtful he was with our music. “We found Bluewater Kings through the preferred vendor list at our venue , and we are so glad we did. They invited us to come hear them play at a live showcase, and we were immediately sold. We booked them that same night. One of the best parts of working with them was the planning process. Their online planning portal made it so easy to update our preferences and make adjustments in the months leading up to the wedding. “My husband and I booked Perfect Day DJs to perform at our wedding and it was better than we could have hoped for. When you first contract with DJ Chad, he provides an easy to use online portal that lets you select the perfect songs for those special moments throughout your wedding day, as well as an easy-to-use must play and do-not-play list. DJ Chad was also very supportive leading up to the big day offering to help in any way he could to help our day run smoothly. When our wedding day came DJ Chad played each of the songs on our must play list, perfectly mixing each one together through smooth transitions and keeping us on our feet! “Picking Jeff as our DJ was our easiest wedding decision — which was a welcome relief among so many decisions. Music was the biggest thing my husband was interested in for the wedding and his interactions with Jeff got him excited about wedding planning. I interviewed 4 other DJs and none of them came close to the quality service or value of price that Jeff did. Every other DJ was a scripted phone call, or I felt that they didn’t actually listen to my information or questions. I met Jeff in person and could tell instantly he was our DJ. He was personable, flexible in meeting time (I was coming from out of state), and came prepared. He already had a list of questions ready to better understand what we wanted, walked me through his process, showed me his paperwork (which you can start working on immediately after booking, was super helpful for us). He took the time to get our details right and connect to us as a couple. He was always early, prepared (complete with backups), and integrated smoothly with the other vendors. We were a smidge delayed from photos and he checked in with us in a way that kept us relaxed and kept things fun for the guests. The way dinner and photos were structured could have been a big boring gap in our reception, if he hadn’t helped us figure out how to fill that time with interaction and then executed it perfectly. Our guests really liked his personality and that our favorite songs were played on the dance floor. The lights made the party!!! Other DJs were charging double his prices for less quality equipment and service, so the value can’t be matched. Definitely recommending Apex to all!”
