β€œWe had our wedding at The Rosemary At Spano Lake on October 4th and it was everything we could have asked for and more! The owners, Jackie and Danny, were amazing to work with and helped make our wedding visions come true by going above and beyond our expectations. The bridal suite was beautiful and had amazing lighting for hair and makeup! The tent was able to accommodate our guests of about 125, it had beautiful lights, tables, bar service, and so much more! Outside of the tent there was yard games and a fire pit! We had our ceremony on the lake facing out to the water by the rock and it looked just like a scene out of a movie! The pictures show just a small portion of how beautiful and amazing the venue was!”

β€œThank you Blenheim Hill Farm for helping orchestrate an absolutely magical wedding weekend for us. Our wedding was truly a fairytale dream come true. The venue itself is breathtaking. The whole farmland was ours for the weekend. I enjoyed morning runs, evening strolls, outdoor yoga, and quality time with the farm animals. There are so many beautiful spots for photos and spaces to find calm. The ceremony takes place with a pond view in the background. The reception is inside a rustic, inviting barn with plenty of space to dance the night away, which we did! The food is incredible. Everything is plated elegantly, like a Michelin star rated restaurant. Our guests enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the desserts. They are also great at catering to any and all dietary restrictions. We had a fully vegan/vegetarian wedding, and it was delicious even for the meat lovers! The staff is exceptional. We felt so cared for and supported throughout our wedding weekend. There was always someone there to answer our questions, and everything fell into place so smoothly. We truly felt the care that went into every moment, both big and small. Financially, it is an investment, and the small add-ons do add up. But honestly, at the end of the weekend, it all felt so completely worth it. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm. It is a beautiful place full of wonderful humans (and goats!).”

β€œI don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said β€œif we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.”

β€œMy wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finishβ€”she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her teamβ€”it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the foodβ€”it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazingβ€”the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!”

β€œWe had our wedding at the Lucy Brate Barn, and it was an incredibly beautiful, charming, and seamless event. The venue (and our photos) looked amazing, and we got so many compliments from our guests. The Mead Family Farm is so scenic, with the barn looking out over a small valley where you may catch a glimpse of the cows grazing in green fields between the rolling hills. The barn is impressively huge, easily fitting our 100 guests with plenty of room to spare. It has such an old-timey charm, made even cozier by the lights, flowers, and decorations. The large doors were wide open, letting in the breezy summer night air, and our guests were also enjoying the outdoor spaces, especially the beautiful patio out back, lined with flowers and greenery and decked with hanging lights. The farm was such a gorgeous place to get married! The Mead-Neff family is so hardworking, helpful, and accommodating β€” and incredibly calm and collected under the pressure of such a large event. They made the planning process easy and smooth, and they were there for us every step of the way. They really went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful to them for making our wedding such a special and beautiful event! Thank you!!! We highly recommend the Lucy Brate Barn at Mead Family Farm!”

Everything you need is right there with little effort. You have a ceremony site, woodlands, farmland, pond, and space outside for guests to roam around. This room is beautiful, it has a large 4 poster bed, sitting room and huge bathroom with large walk in shower. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Patrick Henry ( one of their restaurants on site), which is adjacent to the venue property. The food was delicious and gave off a casual vibe for out of town guests as they were arriving. The day of the wedding the bride and groom have their own beautiful getting ready rooms. The bridal getting ready room had a lot of natural light and salon style chairs for hair and makeup. The morning after the wedding we had our brunch at the Day line Roof top bar, which is another restaurant on the property. The food was a delicious breakfast buffet. TheΒ CabooseΒ
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Hudson, NY
  • Up to 184 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $45,000

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours β€” including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral β€” because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
β€œWe had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty'sβ€”some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredibleβ€”we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good handsβ€”and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictionsβ€”everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpfulβ€”people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venuesβ€”from full-service spots to DIY operationsβ€”and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staffβ€”and all at such a high caliberβ€”unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. M&D FARM: FALL IN LOVE... GET INSPIRED. Tucked away on 58 acres of pastoral beauty in Upstate New York, M&D Farm is a boutique European-style garden and barn wedding venue where natural beauty, timeless elegance, and thoughtful design come together to create intimate and unforgettable celebrations. M&D Farm welcomes couples who want their wedding to feel personal and connected to the place where they celebrate. They are looking for a venue that feels like an extension of who they are. We are not a ballroom, a hotel, or a country club. We are a private estate where every wedding feels at home in its surroundings. Featuring European-inspired gardens, a restored 1940s barn, a serene pond, open meadows, lush woodlands, and a lovingly restored 1800s farmhouse, M&D Farm offers a refined countryside wedding experience for couples who value atmosphere as much as aesthetics.

  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Rustic charm with elegance

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No free parking
  • No in-house catering options
β€œI saw a photo of M&D farm on google two years ago. My husband and I had our wedding at M&D this past month. We did not view any other venues and booked this venue site unseen. This venue truly spoke to us! I cannot even find the words to explain how magical our wedding weekend was. Most of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. With every single corner of this property you will find something new and special. Just when you didn’t think it could get more beautiful throughout the day, Mario and Daniel unveil yet another grand detail. Between the home they have perfectly curated, the flower beds, the secret garden, the upper gardens, the gravel throughout, the garden statues, the greenery, the barn, the pond, the fields, I could go on for days about how dreamy it feels. As you take in the the view of flowers, a breeze will follow giving your nose a chance to experience the scent of the flowers, all while the birds and the bees hum their melodies. It is straight out of the most perfect fairytale movie set you can imagine for a wedding- but it is real! Mario and Daniel’s hospitality and professionalism is unmatched. To sum it up, we had many guests tell us how helpful they were the entire day. But they made sure to say that it was the perfect amount of help, not too much and not too little. Guests told us they felt welcomed into this magical space that Mario and Daniel so happily love to share with everyone who enters. I can 100% say we have no regrets about anything because the entire day went even better than we could have imagined. Mario and Daniel are masters at what they do. Moving onto the wedding planning process. We worked with Mario and Daniel for about a year and a half. They made everything so easy and very straightforward. They were very helpful but not overbearing. One thing I would like to point out is, they have an unspoken understanding of your vision for the day. Some things I hadn’t even thought to communicate they delivered on, because they just understand the vision. I believe this is because they are very connected to each of the couples they plan with. It’s truly amazing! Regarding vendors, we used most of the vendors Mario and Daniel recommended and we are so happy we did. They work with a trusted tight-knit group of vendors because they trust and know they will deliver and bring the best energy and service to your special day. If you feel drawn to this venue, follow your heart, the magic is calling you and will exceed your expectations. Thank you Mario and Daniel for everything”

β€œWe recently attended a wedding at L’Orangerie in Greenville, NY, and it was absolutely incredible. The entire venue felt magical from start to finish. The greenhouse was full of natural light, it created the most beautiful setting for the celebration, and the surrounding grounds were just as stunning. There are so many picturesque spots for a ceremony: near the peaceful pond, inside the greenhouse itself, or tucked among the trees. The house on-site where the wedding party got ready was gorgeous, spacious, and filled with natural light, making the whole morning feel relaxed and special. Everywhere we turned, the property offered another beautiful backdrop for photos. Since we attended in October, the fall foliage was breathtaking with vibrant oranges, reds, and golds that made the whole venue feel like something out of a storybook. L’Orangerie is truly a dream wedding venue. Every detail, from the scenery to the atmosphere, made the day unforgettable. The owners, Lucy and Felix were there too and lovely! Highly recommend!”

The owner, Ms. Gioja was truly wonderful and she made the planning process seamless for us. Which was so important, because it was my first time and she was patient and so very accommodating. It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you're thinking about having your event at Pine Ridge Farms, you will not regret it!!!”

About wedding venues in Nassau, NY

Planning your wedding in Nassau County opens the door to exceptional venues across the area. From Westbury Manor with its lush surroundings to stunning waterfront properties overlooking the Long Island Sound, you'll find perfect settings that give you that ideal balance of natural beauty and sophisticated convenience without the hassle of traveling too far from metropolitan areas.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can I Find in Nassau?

Nassau County venues feature distinct personalities to match your vision. Elegant estates and mansions like Westbury Manor showcase Victorian gardens and architectural details that create a timeless backdrop for your celebration. Waterfront venues including Swan Club On The Harbor offer panoramic water views with a dedicated ceremony island where you can exchange vows with a stunning natural backdrop. Country clubs such as Crest Hollow can accommodate your larger gathering with multiple ballroom options and expansive grounds. If you're looking for something with character, historic locations like The Barn at Old Bethpage Village preserve their 19th-century charm while providing all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable celebration.

How Much Should I Budget for a Nassau Wedding Venue?

Wedding venues in Nassau typically account for 22% of your total wedding budget, averaging $17,042 for the venue alone. Your overall wedding cost will scale based on your guest count, which helps you plan accordingly. A small gathering of 50 guests runs about $32,956 while a medium-sized wedding with 100 guests averages $55,929. Larger celebrations with 150 guests typically cost $77,513 and 200-guest weddings reach around $96,785. For really grand affairs, expect to budget about $116,056 for 250 guests or $135,327 if you're inviting 300 people to share your special day.

When Is the Best Time to Book in Nassau County?

Nassau venues require booking about 15 months ahead – that's 431 days before your wedding date – with December being the peak month for inquiries as newly engaged couples start planning. Spring and fall dates are especially popular and often demand 18+ month advance bookings, particularly if you're eyeing those gorgeous waterfront properties where October foliage creates premium demand. You'll want to move quickly once you've settled on your date, especially if you're dreaming of a weekend celebration during these peak seasons.

Which Nassau Venues Offer Accessibility Features?

Westbury Manor provides full accessibility throughout its modern facilities with entrance ramps and accessible restrooms that ensure all your guests can enjoy your celebration comfortably. If you're looking at nearby options, Flowerfield Estate in neighboring Suffolk County offers spacious grounds with excellent accommodation for wheelchair access across its impressive 12-acre property. These venues understand the importance of including all your loved ones and have designed their spaces accordingly, giving you peace of mind when planning your guest list.

Where Can I Find Exceptional Culinary Experiences in Nassau?

Flowerfield Estate, just a short drive from Nassau, delivers outstanding culinary experiences through their award-winning catering team who can serve up to 350 guests with remarkable attention to detail. While they don't specifically highlight individual chef names, their reputation for excellent food quality makes them ideal if you're prioritizing the dining experience. You'll find their culinary offerings combine traditional favorites with innovative presentations, ensuring your reception meal becomes a memorable highlight of your celebration rather than just another wedding dinner.

How Can Nassau Venues Accommodate Remote Guests?

Nassau County Museum of Art offers enhanced remote participation options through virtual garden tours and gallery exhibits that help distant loved ones feel included. Their Georgian mansion and sculpture gardens provide interactive experiences with multiple camera angles capturing both formal ceremony moments and spontaneous celebrations. This means your friends and family who can't attend in person can still experience the beauty of your venue and share in your special day, creating a more inclusive celebration that bridges physical distance through thoughtful technology integration.

What Questions Should I Ask Nassau Wedding Venues?

When interviewing venues, ask about their service charges beyond the quoted rates, weather contingency protocols (particularly important for May and September bookings), vendor insurance requirements, exclusivity periods for your event, and recommended accommodation options for out-of-town guests. These practical questions will help you avoid surprises later and ensure your planning process stays on track. Each venue handles these details differently, and understanding their policies upfront gives you valuable peace of mind as you move forward with your selection.

How Do Nassau Venues Compare to Nearby Options?

Nassau venues command premium pricing due to their proximity to Manhattan but deliver sophisticated accommodations with established hotel partnerships that make guest logistics simpler. You'll find that Suffolk venues like Flowerfield Estate offer more expansive natural landscape settings if that's your preference, while Nassau specializes in elegant waterfront properties with harbor backdrops that create stunning photo opportunities. Your choice ultimately depends on whether you prioritize convenience, setting, or specific amenities – but Nassau gives you that perfect middle ground of accessibility without sacrificing beauty or service quality.
