“My daughter chose Valentine’s weekend for her wedding event to memorialize my husband and my epic snowstorm some 40 odd years ago- luckily for her the evening of our meet the family at Radio Star Glasserie was just a dusting of white- just enough for her fairy tale story to start- the lighting was warm and inviting and Emily had answered all of our questions beforehand. The staff when we arrived all snowflaked was well prepared and accommodating for our gift table and family of 50. The food was plentiful and very delicious and the flow of service to event timing was just perfect- everyone enjoyed their visit and I can’t say enough about how good we all felt about it when it was time to say good night. Sheer happiness and glow from the evening and they were all there to provide that.”

“We had a wonderful wedding at The Garrison in August in 2024- from the minute we saw this breathtaking venue, we knew it was a special place where we could see ourselves spending one of the most important days of our life. I immediately got in touch with Bridget, who from day one was super accessible, transparent, kind and willing to work with us. Bridget walked us through the entire planning process, from a tasting where we were made to feel super special by the wonderful Fatima (who ended up being our day of attendant and was AWESOME) to every last detail of our special day. The venue itself is gorgeous, the sunset over the mountains, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautifully maintained grounds - our guests were in AWE. The staff was wonderful, they made sure to treat our wedding party extra special and gave great service to our guests. My morning getting ready in the bridal suite was peaceful and easy and Bridget and Fatima kept things on task. We knew our day was in great hands with Bridget and the team at The Garrison and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding such a memorable and beautiful day.”

“If anyone were to ask me what my favorite part of my wedding was I’d have to say “Black Walnut Farm!” What a remarkable experience it has been to work with Sarah, Jim, Lish, Lindsey, and of course, Miss Lilly! My partner and I didn’t even bother viewing another venue because we could instantly feel how special the BWF property was — we called 30 minutes after our tour and said we were ready for the contract and deposit. Even still Black Walnut Farm far exceeded our expectations! Everything about this venue is so thoughtfully curated and managed. There is just so much care and consideration that has gone into every inch of this very special place! My partner and I decided to have a “honeymoon” week during the week of the wedding; we chose to have the extended package where we stayed on the property just the two of us. Unwinding in front of the fireplace while playing chess and drinking wine was such a lovely way to relax the night before. The sunroom is the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding! After our wedding (in lieu of an after party) we just asked to have the hot tub ready for us, which was the best move ever! Most importantly, the BWF team were so kind and patient, cool and collected. In the face of some extreme family drama and chaotic spring weather they always rolled with the punches. I felt that I could trust them fully and always felt safe and cared for. I was not afraid to defer to their expertise in the midst of the chaos, and I do not regret any of those decisions! In fact, the backup rain plan ended up being better than the original plan! Thank you again, Black Walnut Farm. You have created something so very, very special and we will be eternally grateful!”

“Helen at Brookledge was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding!! From our very first interaction, the whole team was communicative, helpful, and really kind. The venue itself has a completely magical vibe, and was the perfect space for our forest wedding in the trees. I had originally hoped to get married in the redwoods in CA, but the The Camp Chapel (one option for a ceremony space) was the absolute next best thing. Helen went above and beyond throughout the weekend (even printed my updated vows last minute!!) to ensure everything ran smoothly, and everyone's attention to detail made our wedding day feel more magical than we could have ever dreamed of!! We are so grateful to Helen and the whole Brookledge team -- if you love glamping and want to get married in the trees -- THIS IS THE VENUE FOR YOU!! 1000/10 recommend! (Just because there isn't another public place to leave this, if you go with Brookledge, as you 10000% should!! don't choose Jake Allen as your DJ - just use another recommended vendor for music! )”

“Nancy, I can’t even begin to express how grateful we are for how hard you and your team worked to make our day absolutely perfect. It was everything and more. The team and LHF/LOM went above and beyond. Despite some hiccups in communication and me getting frantic, you made sure to stay connected with the team to ensure our day was how we wanted it to be! Alyssa was absolutely phenomenal. Her attentiveness to details ensuring that everything was placed specifically how we wanted it. Her calm presence helped calm my anxiety and made the day truly a joy. She was ready for whatever to make sure we were satisfied!! She made sure to get ahold of everyone between the staff there, my photographer, and florist. She was GREAT! Tracy was a CAKE LIFE SAVER! Our cake stand was too small and she went out of her way to make sure we had something to put our cake on, which turned out to be a personal item from home! Tracy was so kind she even sat and played with our 17 month old while the groom had something to do. The staff at the restaurant that worked endlessly serving our food and cleaning things up - please thank them all for us as their work did not go unnoticed! Lastly, please thank Bryan for his awesome bartending skills and leniency with the bar! I had just missed the open bar closing at 8 (it was 8:05) and my aunt wanted to take a shot in honor of my deceased mom. Bryan without hesitation poured us our drinks. Bryan always had a smile on his face and a great attitude. I’ve never in my life seen an owner out there working alongside his employees for such an event! Great job Bryan! Gareth and I are two very humble people. For some our wedding may have seemed like a small, quickly planned wedding but to us it was everything and more. It all came together perfectly! The fresh greenery, the florals, the candles etc. We truly felt so spoiled by all of the littlest things that everyone did that day. Now we have a place to celebrate our anniversary every year, listening to a live band, watching fireworks, or picking flowers at the farm. We hope the success of the restaurant remains so he has a spot to take me out for our anniversary dinners! I have no doubts about its success. It is such a unique spot that I think will continue to flourish. We thank you all again SO SO much and we can’t wait to see the video footage from our special day! Gareth & Elizabeth Allen”

“We had a hard time picking a venue until the minute we walked in here. The second I saw the old fashion floors and gold coast mansion vibes I was in love. And the venue truly lived up to this love throughout our whole planning process and the day of our wedding. Jennifer (sales rep) and Mike (maitre'd) run a very tight ship and made the planning process so easy and seamless. We never felt stressed or unsure, all questions were answered swiftly, and they made all our dreams come true. The day of our wedding and even now weeks later we keep hearing from guests about how perfect the day was, how delicious the food was, and that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to.”

“From the moment we started planning, Miriam and the team at Bourne Mansion understood exactly what we wanted and made it happen with incredible attention to detail. They helped us customize the bar menu and asked thoughtful questions that made us think about details we hadn't considered, which really elevated our day. The ballroom's acoustics were perfect, and the food was exceptional; our guests haven't stopped raving about it. During cocktail hour, we watched deer graze across the sprawling green space with the oceanfront backdrop, and it felt like something out of a dream. Bourne Mansion has the grandeur and elegance we were looking for, and their team's responsiveness and care made the entire experience feel seamless. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.”

“We could not have had a better wedding experience and a huge part of that is due to the amazing staff at the Pavilion. Emily helped us every step of the way. She answered all of the many questions I had, organized our tasting, did our final meeting with us where we went over all of the details and assured us that we were in good hands. On the day of, Tarek and Sabrina were hands down the best. They were there to help us with anything we needed and were checking in on us frequently. They provided us with food and drinks too. Sabrina and Cece were super helpful bustling my dress, and could not have been kinder to all. The staff packed up food for me and my new husband to enjoy. They were incredible with set up and clean up too! I got to pick up all of my things the morning after and Tarek even helped me load the car! If how the staff is hasn’t convinced you enough, you cannot beat the location. We had the best weather, perfect sunset, and views that no one could resist taking a picture of. Our wedding day was truly the best day and an unforgettable one. The guests raved about the beautiful views, the kind staff, and the DELICIOUS food (go Chef Ethan!). Truly the best venue around!”

“I had been to events at Stewart Manor Country Club before and always thought it was a beautiful venue, but having my own wedding there was an entirely different experience. From the very first meeting, the staff made us feel welcome, supported, and genuinely cared for. The venue has this cozy, rustic charm that immediately felt like “home.” We worked closely with James and John, and they were absolutely incredible. They both really go above and beyond. James handles the majority of set up and also takes on the role of Maître D and he doesn’t just do his job—he listens to literally every detail, anticipates needs you don’t even think of, and somehow solves problems before you even know they exist. He even saved us from a mini crisis before the ceremony by drying my husband’s vest after it got wet! By the end of the night, it felt like these two were part of our family. They made everything flow perfectly and made us feel so taken care of from start to finish. We literally have been trying to come up with an excuse to stop by and say hi because they are really just that awesome. If you’re thinking about Stewart Manor Country Club—BOOK IT. It was everything we hoped for and so much more.”
