Full Moon Resort, located in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York, is a rustic, yet sophisticated, full-service, destination facility, featuring over 100 acres of meadows, forests, and streams, a year-round heated pool, a range of lodging options for your entire group, exquisite on-site catering and world-class event management.

The Moondance Pavilion designed specifically for wedding receptions provides a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities.
This multi-functional, state-of-the-art structure, built in 2018, provides a picture-perfect environment for wedding receptions ranging from 60 to 350 in attendance. The space was designed with a barn-like quality combined with highly modern touches. Amenities include a full bar, a variety of table/floor plan options, ambient and dance-floor lighting, an art gallery, four high-quality restrooms, and a large bridal-ready room.

Classic fully renovated 1920's Catskill barn with wraparound picture windows overlooking the mountain valley.
Multifunctional, rustic barn with beautiful windows overlooking the creek and valley. Beautiful, attached bluestone-covered patio. Usable for many types of functions, with principal use for welcome/arrival BBQ-rehearsal dinners and other catered functions such as lovely buffet breakfasts and lunches, and cocktail parties. Full bar. Two restrooms. Lovely old-fashioned barn loft.

The roadhouse is a great way to top off your wedding event at Full Moon Resort celebrations. The principal use for this space is for socializing following wedding receptions. Gatherings range from laid-back, social soirees with light music to full-scale dance parties. The space features a full copper-top bar, bluestone fireplace, small stage with colorful stage lighting, a classic "dirty dancing" mirrorball, and an artistically designed lighting valence that encircles the entire room.

Best wedding ever!!!
We had our wedding weekend at Full Moon Resort from 8/14-8/16 2026 and Full moon could not have been better. The staff, the food, the vibe and everything in between was more than we could have imagined. They are super easy to communicate with and make the wedding planning process seamless. Multiple people have told me it was the best wedding (weekend) they've ever attended and something super unique. An absolute great way to extend your celebration. 100000/10!

Truly unique and special wedding retreat venue
Fantastic unmatched wedding experience! A beautiful, remote location that creates a true "retreat" experience for you and your guests. Our friends and family loved all of the bonus time together with everyone staying onsite. Ask about the coffee truck (Arios) - one of our favorite details. We loved that FMR took care of so many parts of our wedding weekend - welcome dinner, goodbye brunch, cake, all meals (food is DELICIOUS and plentiful), rooming, no guest transportation needed. It rained for our ceremony and I barely noticed. The ceremony tent was just as magical, the staff greeted our guests with umbrella escorts to cocktail hour. Vitamin M Band played all of our wedding day events. They play regularly at FMR and are elite, long live live music! We have two young children and many guests brought their kids as well. The staff was exceptional at making it fun and welcoming for all ages, very accommodating for our childcare as well. They put up with a lot of bubble gun action! So fun for the kiddos with the pool and infamous boat playground onsite, wildlife everywhere, fields to run through. The hardest part of the whole process was the rooming assignments, it just takes time and some extra effort coordinating with your guests. The FMR front desk staff is SUPER helpful. It was absolutely worth it - our guests enjoyed staying near each other and walking distance from all of the weekend's events. My happy place is our August summer wedding at Full Moon 3

A Dream Come True
We came across full moon resort in our search for a smaller venue. When we toured the property, we were instantly sold. Everything is amazing. The rooms were amazing, ranging from entire houses for groups to quieter rooms like Dancing Bear. What made this experience seamless and wonderful has to be the staff, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about every detail to make our wedding perfect. The food was also top tier and our guests couldn't stop raving about how good their food was and how generous the portions were (Steak and Salmon were our choices and they did NOT disappoint). The ceremony by the creek and the reception hall were also so amazing and we had so much fun throughout the entire night. We highly recommend choosing Full Moon Resort as your wedding destination. We can't wait to come back when it snows!!

Hands Down The BEST Place to Get Married
From our first conversation with the Full Moon Resort team, we knew we'd made the right choice. Their communication was quick and friendly, and they stayed on top of every detail leading up to our wedding weekend. The staff was accommodating and warm throughout the entire event, checking in on us at just the right moments and handling every request we had. The space itself is stunning, and having everything on-site—from lodging to multiple event spaces—made the weekend flow seamlessly. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and how easy it was to stay overnight. We honestly can't recommend Full Moon Resort enough for couples looking for a venue that truly delivers on professionalism, hospitality, and an unforgettable experience.

All you can ask for
We seriously cannot thank Full Moon Resort enough for giving us the most perfect wedding weekend. From the second we arrived, everything just felt magical, relaxed, and so us. The property is absolutely beautiful and somehow every single corner feels cozy while still taking your breath away. What really makes Full Moon special though is the people. Every staff member was kind, helpful, calm, and genuinely excited for us all weekend long. Our guests have not stopped talking about the food, the cabins, the views, and honestly just the overall vibe of the weekend. Getting married under a full moon at Full Moon honestly felt unreal and we already wish we could do the whole weekend over again. We are so grateful for every single memory made there and could not recommend it more highly.
