“We got married here on April 25, 2026 and the entire planning experience was straightforward, easy and stress free. We worked with Sammy in the initial stages, Tabitha as our coordinator and Kelly as our banquet captain and they all worked tirelessly to give us the most perfect wedding ceremony and reception. We used all their recommended vendors - Flit Flowers, Elegance on Display (dessert), Photos by LMP, DJ Maestro - and they all communicated directly with the Wedgewood team and the day was flawless. Our guests commented on how much fun they had at the wedding and they even enjoyed all the food! We would highly recommend this place if you do not want to be stressed about your wedding day :)”

“We had such an amazing time and are so happy that wedgewood was a part of our special day. It was everything we envisioned and more! Petr went above and beyond for us, from coordinating with my family members, our musicians, to fixing my dress and veil prior to walking down the isle, Brynn was there every step of the way from opening the doors during the ceremony , gathering all the items lost and found and coordinating with the burrito vendors for late night bites. (: Our bartender!!!- I forgot his name but there was NEVER a line at the bar!! Shots were always ready and not once did he bat an eye! We love you guys so much. 100% would do it again!! Literally the BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. We are so glad we chose headquarters- I was stressed, but after the rehearsal - I felt so grounded and ready to marry the love of my life. We really appreciate all your help. Thanks again!! 10/10!!! Tbh, the other Wedgewood venues have NOTHING on the headquarters!! When we got to visit the presidio venue- we loved the location, but not the venue. - at that moment we knew we chose the right venue. Headquarters is the best location, most convenient for guests with limited mobility and that’s #1 reason we chose headquarters. - my grandma who is 92, grandpa Bennie 90 and cousin Don-Don who is wheelchair bound with down syndrome were all comfortable and safe. I was also amazed by how the outside cocktail area transformed from when we initially toured the venue, we spend a lot of time in nature, some days I was regretting we didn’t have a nature based outdoor wedding (we also didn’t want to worry about the possibility of the weather afffecting our guest experience- it was raining when we toured headquarters), but I was pleased to be able to get fresh air and still have the same vibe outside. Trying to think if there could have been anything that could have done differently..maybe clearing the bridal suite after cocktail hour of the food/drinks?! I was a bit nauseated from the smell of the tuna that was left out, but as soon as we asked the staff - it was cleared and bussed right away. The lobo lighting was so underwhelming, but that was the band and not you guys (they did the right thing and focused on the music vs centering the light - as they should- they killed ittt) Of course everything can’t be perfect, but it was imperfectly perfect!!! Ohhh also we would have liked to know about the jail cells and exhibit so we could let our guests know to check it out! But we saw it in our own walking around! Two days after the wedding! Soo cool!! Kendra did our initial tour and did a great job laying everything out on the table so there wouldn’t be any surprises. We could not believe everything that was included and the value- but it truly is an all inclusive experience. Mary was great with communication and answered all of my questions (even the really silly ones). On the day of, the quality of their work was truly amazing - they executed my vision perfectly, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Tammy, Ellen, and Brian who were our incredible photo/video team, went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and ensure we had a fun, memorable experience. Last but certainly not least - Laura was our coordinator and she was absolutely EPIC. She played such a huge role throughout the process and relieved so much of my stress through multiple meetings and emails. She made sure everything was perfect the day of, kept me calm (which is not easy to do) and was an absolute gem. She is truly one of a kind and the absolute best - I could not have asked for a better coordinator. “We got married at Cape Rey Carlsbad in May 2026 and it was the best decision we made. From the very first visit in April 2025, we couldn't stop thinking about how gorgeous the venue was. Not only was it extremely spacious to host 140 guests, the Ocean view is spectacular plus it was very close to our ceremony site. Just steps away from the beach, it was a no brainer for us to take our newlywed photos there. Each part of our reception had a unique space. Our cocktail hour was hosted on the grassy patio, dinner was out on the terrace to enjoy the sunset, and dancing was inside the ballroom. We even had space to set up more fun activities and bars for our guests in the foyer between the ballroom and the terrace! There was plenty of space for our guests to roam around. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful beach setting and the food! Not only is the food portions generous in size but it is so delicious. The head chef knows what he is doing. We had quite a few of out of town guests and most stayed on property. It was convenient and everyone felt well accommodated. Having the room block there was a great choice. Our suite was comfortable and we felt welcomed! What really made the day unforgettable was the team. 4 months before the wedding, there was a change in Sales Manager. We had a good relationship with the previous Sales Manager and were nervous. Cape Rey managed the transition well and the new Sales Manager, Mikayla Leversen, hit the ground running She went above and beyond, making sure everything ran smoothly. From the planning process to the last dance, the staff was extremely professional, kind, and attentive. We loved everything about Cape Rey and can't wait to come back for our anniversaries!”

“The Vistonian was a lovely venue! We loved all of the greenery and natural light inside the venue. It was spacious and allowed for plenty of room for our guests. The bridal suite was also spacious with lots of mirrors and outlets. We used the venue for both ceremony and reception. It was an easy transition going from one to the next. We worked with Shelly, the venue coordinator, and she was fabulous! Great communication from when we toured, booked, and up to our big day. The value for what we got was amazing as well! We did their all inclusive package and were happy with the price for all that we got: tables & chairs, bridal suite, catering, open bar, and DJ. Honestly, so great if you're on a budget or have a bigger budget and want to spend more on something like decor or florals. Highly recommend!!”

The reception hall was GORGEOUS, I loved how everything was set up, she did everything and more to help ease the stress of my wedding day! The food service was also great, we received many compliments on the cocktail hour foods and dinner service! All of the staff there were incredibly kind and nice, the bartenders, staff, chefs, bus boys, everyone was amazing.
