The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. Word of mouth spread of how delicious the meat was and it was quite a conversation piece. She can provide the couple with everything they need to host a successful event. Included in the facility package is set up & clean up, all dinnerware and barware, tables, chairs, linens, and lighting. The Ballroom at Union Square is a historic space located downtown Newark. Originally built in 1902 originally as a dance hall the venue was renovated and re-opened in 2016 as a concert hall. To our surprise couples began booking weddings and to date we have hosted more than 50. The venue is three stories and features the main ballroom, two full service bars, a full service kitchen, changing rooms, and onsite accommodations for the couple.
