He creates the ultimate mixes and mash ups, but also listens to you with what you want. His app is detailed so he makes sure your special day goes exactly as planned. He is also readily available whenever you need him for anything. My wedding had a good mix ages (older and younger guests), but he truly has EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night. I have not stopped hearing all of the compliments from my guests about Josh, about how awesome his skills and mixes were and about how amazing the music was and how he really knew how to engage the crowd. He also has a great set up with lights, a custom dj booth with a screen that you can modify to put your name and also have a slideshow during dinner. It is very aesthetically pleasuring. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

I have been Doing since 1997, with doing weddings almost exclusively since 2007. Weddings are always a great time. We go over everything with the couple and make sure their day is exactly what they are looking for.

“Ryan went above and beyond as our DJ. He helped organize the craziness of dinner before killing it on the table. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

They seamlessly transitioned from beautiful live violin music during the pre-ceremony to a lively and engaging trio performance with multiple instruments for the reception. On top of that, they also handled DJ duties, which made things so convenient and ensured that every moment had the perfect soundtrack. Their talent, professionalism, and ability to read the crowd made our celebration feel effortless and full of energy. I highly recommend booking the trio option. It added such a special dynamic and wow factor to the evening. Honestly, the only thing I wish is that our wedding had lasted longer than 4½ hours so we could have enjoyed their incredible music even more! “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! Big weddings, small weddings, outdoor ceremonies in gracious gardens, intimate funky venues, you name it, I've done them all. But don't get me wrong, no matter how many weddings are in my future, never ever will it be a matter of being there, done that. No matter how many weddings I do, all my energy goes into each. For those precious few hours I am more than just a wedding dj in the Tri state area, I'm proud to say I am part of countless couple's lives.

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”
