White Lotus Farm was an absolute gem of a wedding venue. We had an amazing experience working with their team from start to finish. They were always very responsive over email, getting back to us extremely quickly whenever we had a question. On the big day itself, they were collaborative, communicative, and went the extra mile to ensure things went smoothly - like letting our less mobile guests use their golf cart to get around. For the quality of service and sheer beauty of the venue and grounds, White Lotus Farm is excellent value for your money. My husband and I could not recommend them more highly for your special event - they truly helped make our wedding a dream come true. Don't hesitate in booking White Lotus Farm - they will work with you to create a 5-star, 10/10 wedding experience from start to finish.

St. Paul’s Church sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay. The church, built in 1879, is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. In the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception, dance floor and/or cocktail hour.

Fireseed was truly the venue of our dreams. Not only was it a beautiful setting, but we loved that the food was so delicious (and our guests loved it too!), that they ran the day of coordination, and that we had all weekend to set up/celebrate/clean up. But MOST OF ALL they could not have had better communication. I planned the whole wedding myself and always had my questions answered right away, often within a few hours of asking them. We felt taken care of from the first point of contact. It is such a special venue and we would recommend it to anyone!!!

Getting married at Camp Parsons was great. Josh Cunningham, the camp director, went above and beyond to help us with our special day. Josh answered any and all questions, answering with the most friendly, helpful attitude. The camp is situated in a private and gorgeous area, right on the bay. If you/guest love camping this is a great place to rent out for a long weekend wedding. We rented out the whole camp Friday-Sunday afternoon and our guests had a blast. Because the camp is nestled between forest and ocean it afforded us a lot of opportunities for amazing pictures. The health lodge was perfect for getting ready and for us (bride and groom) to stay in the night of the wedding. All in all, the venue was affordable, had everything we needed for a successful wedding and we will forever have great memories of our marriage.

We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. I always loved to work the weddings, and imagined that my dream wedding would be there one day. I am so so happy that I was able to make that dream come true!! IslandWood goes above and beyond to make the guests' and bride & groom's experiences absolutely perfect! I personally already knew the food would taste amazing, as I used to always eat the leftovers when I worked there. But eating food from a menu that my husband and I got to custom design with Jim was truly an unforgettable experience. All of the guests loved the food, and Jim and his team tackle every request that you throw their way! My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! Moreover, Erica, our event planner, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect weekend! IslandWood is a magical place, and your wedding will be magical if you choose to have it there. Yes, it is pricey, but the experiences that you, your family, and your friends will leave with are truly invaluable!

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
We were married at MUCC in August of last year and it was perfect! The church space itself is lovely and looks wonderful in our photos. The sanctuary is especially beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. They also had plenty of space in another area of the church so that we could host our reception there as well. This was really helpful since we had many out of town guests who are unfamiliar with driving in the Seattle area. Beyond that, pastor Marci was really wonderful and met with us before the ceremony to talk about what we wanted. We felt really fortunate to find her, but I believe you can also have your own officiant which is not something many churches allow you to do. We also used their pianist for the ceremony music and he did a fantastic job. Overall everything was very easy and convenient, allowing us to just focus on the day. They are also a wonderful church that contributes to the community, definitely appreciate these folks!

We got married aboard the MV Skansonia on July 31, and we can't say enough good things about Landmark Event Co. Just five weeks before our wedding, the boat took on water, and the way this team handled it was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, Trevor and Emilie were wonderful: communicative, honest, and genuinely fighting for us the entire time. They kept us updated at every step, lined up backup options so we were never left scrambling, and ultimately delivered the wedding we had dreamed of, on the venue we fell in love with. The venue itself is amazing and perfect. There's nothing like being on the water on Lake Union. The setting is intimate and magical, the bar is huge, and the dance floor is great. Our guests are still raving about it. Having the catering, flowers, and linens all through them made everything so easy. One team, one point of contact, and every detail handled beautifully. We also highly recommend using them as your day of coordinator. It kept everything seamless and let us actually enjoy our wedding day. If you're considering this venue or this team, don't hesitate. They earned every one of these five stars and then some.

The Lady Florence feels less like a traditional venue and more like the beloved home of a great aunt who’s thrilled to host your wedding. The house itself is stunning—filled with charming antiques, art, and delightful knickknacks that make it feel warm and personal. The outdoor spaces offer something special in every season. We got married in the fall, and were treated to blooming dahlias and grapevines bursting with rich, vibrant colors. Amy and Betsy are absolute gems. We were looking for a wedding that was both beautiful and low-key, and as soon as we met them, we knew we’d found our match. I don’t want to make any promises on their behalf, but let’s just say I floated the idea of a miniature donkey as a ring bearer, and they didn’t even blink. They matched our vibe immediately. I chose to have Amy do the day-of coordination—and as a project manager and full-blown type A person, I wanted to be completely hands-off on the big day. My wedding binder had instructions down to the napkin folds. Amy NAILED it. If anything went wrong, I never knew. Everything ran perfectly. We also loved how flexible the venue was in letting us create the wedding we envisioned. Through Florence, we found Carol at Island Girls Catering (incredible!) and she connected us to Sweet Buffet Lady for rentals. That trio made for an absolute dream team. We booked the whole house overnight and I highly recommend doing that. Honestly, our only regret was not booking the entire weekend. Having the space to linger, enjoy the night, and ease into cleanup the next morning was priceless.

Alicia and Mark were extremely responsive and accommodating of our requests. Our guests had an amazing time and we were so honored to celebrate with a piece of Seattle history. The Virginia V is a nonprofit and I loved supporting them in preserving the ship rather than paying a corporate wedding venue.
