“If someone asked me nicely to go dance my heart out in 90 degree heat, I would probably refuse. If someone tried to bribe me to get out on the floor in near tropical levels of humidity and sweltering, oppressive temperatures, it would take a hefty sum. And yet, twice now I have seen Jeremy get not just me, but over one hundred people to move our feet to the expertly curated beats and harmonies, ignoring the heat in what were inarguably the best dance parties I have had the joy of participating in. My wife discovered Jeremy after I struck out in my search to find adequate music for our wedding. After wading through a sea of ridiculous quotes, flaky DJ's, and logistical nightmares involving the transportation of bands, I gave up entirely. So when my wife explained that she had found a DJ with extremely reasonable rates and fantastic reviews, I was in disbelief. But then, she played for me a sample mix that Jeremy had put together for a HIIT class and it was pure musical magnificence. We hired him soon after. Jeremy was prompt and polite in communications, knowledgeable, unforgettably friendly, and above all else the master of the party's vibe. He managed to blend Beyonce with MGMT, he got my grandmother dancing to N'Sync, I can't overstate how much fun we had. When we remember our wedding with friends and families, the music is everyone's highlight. I cannot recommend Jeremy highly enough. - Nic My partner and I were looking for a DJ for our wedding. This was a new experience for me, but Jeremy made it incredibly easy. He was organized, incredibly friendly, and even provided a survey to better understand our music tastes as well as our vision for the event. “I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! “Mark Maskell was absolutely incredible. Even though we had an all-inclusive venue, he was my one non-negotiable outside vendor from the very beginning. As someone who has been to a million weddings and genuinely loves music and going out, I hate cheesy wedding music and forced line dancing. Mark was the only DJ whose bio openly said that if you are looking for that vibe, he is not the DJ for you. That honesty alone sold me. From the start, Mark went far above and beyond what was included in our contract. He spent countless hours helping us curate our wedding timeline, reviewing my very Type A spreadsheets, and offering thoughtful guidance. He honestly felt more like a second wedding planner than just a DJ during the planning process. And the lights. The lighting setup and light show were unreal and completely elevated the entire experience. Mark truly curates the music and the atmosphere to you as a couple, not just a generic wedding crowd. One thing that must be pointed out is how committed he is to playing his role in any event, he had a whole tv trailer to make things so much more convenient as a traveling DJ/ entertainment.
