“I had such an amazing wedding day with Cheryl as my makeup and hair stylist. She took a lot of care and detail to make sure my look was exactly what I wanted. Even going as far as to determine when I should wash my hair so my curls would stay in longest. My make up is as exactly what I wanted and we got there because she takes time to listen to what you want for your look. I don’t normally do a full glam look, I keep it natural in my day to day routine, but she translated that to a beautiful wedding day look. She even did touch ups for me between the ceremony and the reception. We got married in the summer and I was very hot and sweaty at the peak of the heat and she was even able to refresh my hair after it fell out from my sweat. “Last month I got married at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island, and I had the pleasure of working with Jackie Fanara, an artist from Melissa’s makeup team. She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish- it felt like hanging out with an old friend! She is so incredible at making her clients feel comfortable, listened to, and pampered. She went completely above and beyond- when the bridal party was finishing photos outside and it started pouring, she got SOAKED while shielding my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was able to get safely from the park to the vehicles to inside the venue. “I never had professional makeup done with the exception of 1 time so I don’t know much about makeup, hair or looks. But Gabriel was able to bring my vision to life. I just told her what things I like for example I said Amy whinehouse a lot! And bold, skinny face, shiny cheeks and wings! She made that vision come to life with both hair and makeup. She traveled to me for the trial run and it was a seamless experience! The day of my wedding she showed up early and although we had a issue with our room she was able to work in a tight space full of 20 people in and out with kids running around while smiling the whole time! When we did my makeup I did last minute changes and with no complaint or holdback she did those changes for me. My hair? Beautiful! She also did one of my bridesmaids makeup that I am still in awe over, my maid of honors hair and eye makeup, and my moms hair which I have NEVER seen my mom look the way she did. And I mean that in such a good way! Her prices are the BEST I have ever seen especially with how far she traveled to me for both trial and wedding day. I’d recommend her to anyone! “Mary K Engle did an absolutely amazing job on myself and my bridal party. She showed up early and ready to work. All of my girls looked absolutely stunning. Our makeup stayed all night and didn't budge one bit. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup all night long. There were lots of tears during the ceremony and you couldn't tell in any photos that I had been crying! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a hair and makeup stylist in the area. She is very professional and does amazing work that will make you feel like a princess on your special day!”

“I had the pleasure of having Emily as my makeup artist for my April 2024 wedding. Emily was so easy to work with. Her communication was timely and responsive. She was very helpful in providing me exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Emily started by having me complete a makeup trial. I LOVED my trial makeup and Emily was so responsive to everything I asked. Emily then created a completely personalized hair and makeup timeline for wedding day that was super easy and required very little work from me to create. On the day of the wedding she brought a team of 2 ladies with her to get all 6 of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and 2 flower girls hair and makeup done. Emily was on time, professional, and a lot of fun to work with. She was flexible and provided such a relaxing and easy going feel for the day. I was so appreciative of how easy going it was because wedding day can be so stressful and hectic. Emily and her team were able to get us done on time and we all loved our hair and makeup. Everyone looked and felt beautiful! I would highly recommend Emily for all hair and makeup services for wedding day!!”

“Chantell was amazing to work with and very quick with her hands to get my hair to where we wanted it to be. She gave me a trial for wedding hair and we worked with pearls I was given as a gift. When we couldn’t make that work due to the length of the pearls, we worked up another style for engagement photos that day.
