Within 24 hours, Melissa sent a very thorough itemized proposal with the exact flowers and items for us to confirm within our wishlist and budget range, such as bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, the flower girl basket, the ceremony arch, table centerpieces, and wedding cake florals. The whole proposal signing and decision-making process was super smooth and easy. Something I thought was really unique is that they were able to repurpose our ceremony arch into our sweetheart table decor in order to reduce the cost, as well as repurpose the flowers in a sustainable way. “Luci is an ARTIST! I knew I had to have her for my wedding in Spain and she really outdid herself! I had a VERY specific vision for my flowers but I also wanted them to be a bit of a surprise and let Luci's artful side shine to create something unique for my day (an impossible combination, I know) but Luci made it happen! My flower arrangements and bouquet were artful, luxurious, and made my wedding level up completely. I also loved her personality and professionalism, she's such a joy to be around. I'm a wedding vendor myself (photography) so I know how much a good florist can change a wedding day for the better. 100 stars. 10/10. absolutely recommend!!”

Florescent Florals

“We had the absolute best experience working with Florescent and Sam for our wedding! I truly cannot say enough great things about them! I came to Sam with the idea of doing a colorful meadow for our altar but the issue was that the inspo pictures I had for this were from a VERY pricy Lake Como wedding. But Sam came to the rescue and figured out a way to make my floral dreams come true on my much more limited budget! She worked hard to come up with ways that the flowers could be repurposed and used in different ways throughout the venue following our ceremony. She took all of my notes about the colors of flowers I was interested in and completely exceeded my expectations without much more direction from me! She came up with the most beautiful combinations of flowers in the arrangements and bouquets she created and totally blew us all away! When I first walked into our wedding venue I was completely amazed by what Sam and her team did and how their amazing work transformed the space and brought my dreams to life. I cannot thank Sam and her team at Florescent enough and I also cannot recommend them more highly! Thank you, thank you, thank you Sam and Florescent!!!”

FWith over 12 years of experience in floral design in New York City, Florescent’s founder Samantha Smerconish brings her background in visual arts / production to her work - blending structure, movement, and natural beauty. She was drawn to floristry as a way to create with living materials while immersed in an urban landscape. Her journey with flowers began as a mobile bicycle cart, selling arrangements in parks and at pop-ups throughout the city. What started as a small, moving studio grew into a permanent workspace, and now into a retail floral space rooted in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

“Sheryl and her team did a fantastic job. I asked her for as much color and as many florals as possible within my budget and she provided. I received so many compliments on her work. Her communication was great. Due to rain her team had to do a faster than expected turn around to repurpose the ceremony flowers and they did great. The flowers lasted for 2 weeks.”
