Chestnut Mountain Resort is an absolutely amazing place to get married. The views are spectacular, the staff at the venue are beyond kind and caring, and the amenities were great! My husband and I wanted to get married in a state closer to family. So we did a destination wedding here at Chestnut Mountain Resort. We are from California and have never been to Galena, IL before. As any bride to be can assume, planning a destination wedding just adds a whole new layer of worry and stress to wedding planning. But! Shera made the whole process a BREEZE! She worked with my husband and I to ensure that all our needs were met, that all our questions were answered, and genuinely put my mind at ease that my wedding day would be wonderful. Shera communicated with us every step of the way and made sure to explain everything (even when I asked the same question like 5 times due to wedding planning brain). I honestly couldn’t imagine our wedding having been anywhere else! If Chestnut Mountain Resort is on your list of venue contenders, BOOK THEM! The whole place is beautiful!

Not a wedding client, rather a corporate client. We hosted a business event at Murphy Court and they were outstanding. They got back to us the same day we inquired about hosting. They had great follow up on set up, catering, and details for the flow of the event, they even offered some suggestions that definitely made the feel of our event more inviting for our attendees. I can not say enough about their great staff and overall wonderful customer service. We have already scheduled our next event we will be holding at Murphy's Court!

We had our wedding at Ludlow Mansion in Monroe WI and it was fantastic. Penny and Greg are great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our guests continued to comment throughout the night how the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was in April and they were so accommodating to moving the ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend going with the three day package as it made everything less stressful. I cannot say enough how happy we were to have our wedding at Ludlow and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for that all in one place for their weddings!
