I knew right away just after shooting my first wedding 14 years ago that I had found my calling. It was perfect because I could combine my passion for photography and love. I am a hopeless romantic at heart. When it comes to my work, I believe every detail matters. No wedding is too small. No detail is too insignificant. Anna began her career in fashion industry before establishing herself as an independent art photographer in Houston. She produced two solo exhibitions and worked with Getty Images, Vogue Italia, and FotoFest International, among others. Alejandro studied film in New School of Design in NYC and works in film, experimental media, photography, and art installation. Anna & Alejandro became passionate about the industry after they worked on their friend’s wedding together. They founded Giverny Wedding in 2015.

I have been shooting since I was about ten years old on 110 cameras, in high school I learned to shoot on a 35 MM camera. Professionally I accepted my first paid shoot in 1996, a boudoir session for the girlfriend turned wife of a friend deploying overseas with the Army. I earned $50 and a six-pack of beer for a one-hour session on a Canon AE1 35 MM film camera I bought at a yard sale.
