Yes Taylour thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention. I remember exactly what happened. While I did provide music at the contracted time, The setup may have been a bit scrambled because I was setting up for your three separate live performances who were running behind. This is not a typical service DJ's offer and you were not charged extra for it. $650 is a fantastic price for the flexibility used performing your night. I pride myself and going above and beyond on the services I do provide. So when food service came to a complete halt after the first two tables as the buffet was not getting refilled, I stepped up to replace rolls and entertain tables as best I could. I did respectfully push the wait staff to address the problem, however their catering team was incredibly unorganized and gave me the excuse that you had extra guests. Extra guests cannot be the excuse when the first two tables of the rsvp'd guests are the only ones getting served for 30 minutes while they not only finish their meal but have your other guests looking on, waiting for food. But I do not work in the kitchen and so I brought this up to the wait staff. Any caterer I have ever worked with would never take almost 2 hours to serve guests. Your first two tables were done eating and people were just waiting. So your liaison that I was communicating with that night, I suggested that they may ask for a partial refund because your music was now pushed back causing a delay in your music and dances. I even went as far as to suggest that the caterer cover the extra hour since they caused the delay by being unprepared. After presenting you with the option to go an hour longer for $100, you turned it down and did seem quite upset, so I offered my curated playlist to be played on one of your live performer's speakers after I left. This was also an additional courtesy because I felt incredibly bad that I couldn't help with the disruptive dinner situation. I do need to learn and mind my own business, literally, but that ties in with running the evening on schedule and addressing any hiccups that may occur . I believe my communication was outstanding and making sure you got the most bang for your buck . However the overall performance and additional conditions were met with enthusiasm. I was very excited to hear your talented singers and experience your unique day! I hope this explanation can bring some clarity to the role I played in your night.
