Amazing!
Alex did an INCREDIBLE job at our wedding! We got married at Regatta Place in Newport RI during the September'26 Nor'easter, which obviously complicated our wedding given the rain and high winds. Alex never wavered despite the bad weather and was super prepared, bringing all sorts of equipment and even a generator just in case it was needed. He really knows his stuff and is very thorough in achieving exactly what the bride and groom want - he was available all throughout the planning process, detail orientated in his setup, and he definitely brought the party! I would recommend Alex to anyone given his professionalism, knowledge, and ability to get the party going!

We hired DJ Alex Brown for our April wedding and we couldn't have made a better choice! We had a lot of specific requests around the emceeing style and overall vibe of the night, and he truly listened to what we wanted and executed it perfectly. We didn't want a lot of fanfare for us as the couple, and we really wanted the energy focused on making sure our guests had a great time. Alex definitely delivered on that!! He did such a great job reading the room and picking music that kept the dancefloor going all night. Everything felt seamless and professional. We would absolutely recommend DJ Alex Brown to anyone looking for a DJ who’s professional, attentive, and knows how to keep a crowd engaged and having fun.

Alex Brown DJ - 5 Stars!!!
Hired Alex for our sons wedding on September 6th at the Boathouse. From start to finish he was a pleasure to work with. Professional, organized and full of great ideas and advice. The Boathouse presented some challenges with design and logistics but Alex completely executed the vision we had . His drapery and lighting work completely transformed the space and it was GORGEOUS! As for the music.....even with last minute curveballs that I threw at him he was PHENOMENAL! Dance floor packed all night. We still have people talking about the night. If you are contemplating DJ, design, lighting, etc.....look no further. BOOK HIM! 5 Stars and a Bravo.

DJ Alex Brown - Newport Wedding
My wife and I hired Alex as the DJ for our wedding in Newport this October. He was absolutely incredible. From the ceremony and recessional to the photo booth, greenery wall and dance floor, Alex and his team crushed it. The uplighting was great and the marquee letters really brought the room together and made a great background for photos. One of the things that I was most passionate about as a groom was finding someone who would set the tone for the night. Alex brought the energy from the moment he stepped on site that day. Whether he was behind the DJ booth working the 1s and 2s or on the mic, he was fantastic. Since the wedding, all of our friends have been asking about Alex, his team and where we found them. There's no lack of DJ's for a Newport wedding but if you're reading this review then congratulations because your search is over! DJ Alex Brown is simply the best there is.

We had DJ Alex Brown for our wedding this past week and we could not have been happier with our choice. I can be very selective and particular with what kind of music I love to dance to so I was nervous when looking for a DJ. I wanted EDM, 90s techno, and dance music and when I tell you he nailed it, I mean it. Every single song that was played I LOVED. I gave him a few must play songs and he 100% understood the vibe I wanted. If you are looking for someone that understands dance music (think also old school Show me Love- Robin S) then I truly could not recommend him more!! He was also extremely professional and kept everything running smoothly.
