Hire Mercier music right now!!!
We hired Mercier Music Weddings and Events for our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better choice. From our first conversation, they made themselves easy to reach and answered every question we had with clear, helpful advice. On the day of the wedding, they handled everything seamlessly—keeping things moving from the ceremony through the reception without us having to worry about a thing. What really stood out was how they got people on the dance floor. Guests who normally don't dance were out there having the time of their lives, and it made for some of our favorite moments from the night. Their attention to detail and fun energy made our reception feel special, and we'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
3 weeks after my wedding, I still have people reaching out to me telling me how much fun it was and I credit most of that to Shane and our dance floor!!! In our pre wedding meeting, he let us know that he can read a crowd and knows how to keep the party going, and he was not lying!!! We hired a saxophonist for the dance floor as well, and Shane and he worked so well in tandem together (hope this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership for them!!!) Music aside, he’s an awesome MC and was seamlessly reading my cues and with my last second changes, did not miss a beat. Hire him if you want to have the most memorable experience!!!

Be extra clear in what you're looking for
I'll be honest and say that Shane was the vendor that me, my husband, and my wedding planner were the most worried about. He wasn't very communicative and it would be hard to get in contact with him during the planning process. But he proved us wrong on the day. He came on time, really well dressed, with awesome professional equipment. Unfortunately, when introducing people while MCing people walking into the reception, he really rushed through it, no one knew what was going on or had a chance to stand to be applauded. It was very awkward to watch on our wedding video. What was frustrating though was he wasn't very mindful of our don't play songs/artists. We clearly said we didn't want a specific artist played yet just a few minutes after we sat down for the reception we heard a song of theirs (granted it was an instrumental). He also took requests from the small crowd we had, which I should have said ahead of time to not to so perhaps this is on me, but this ended up changing the entire vibe of the music we were hoping for. My husband and I were looking forward to hearing our music but instead we heard a completely different genre. He does have great energy, is really friendly, and can read the crowd. While the music wasn't what we wanted, a few guests came up to say they liked it. So it's up to what you're looking for!

Shane is the BEST
Shane 100% made our wedding!! Throughout the entire planning process he was extremely professional and communicative to our many questions and ideas (including one final change the morning of the wedding). He helped us think through and reorganize our run of show, including perfectly integrating a few live songs played by my brother in law! Shane took on our music request with excitement, especially after hearing we wanted house music that could somehow vibe with guests of all ages. To no surprise, Shane created the set of our dreams! The dance floor didn’t slow down for a second and had both kids and grandparents dancing until the last song…and then the last song after that when the full floor chanted for one more!! Beyond excited to recommend Shane to everyone we know and come up with another excuse to celebrate and have him DJ!!
