I’m DJ Rod Murray, an experienced wedding DJ and MC serving Indianapolis and couples throughout Central Indiana and Indiana. I’ve created memorable wedding experiences since 2008, combining professional DJing, MC skills, music knowledge, and years of broadcasting experience to help make your wedding reception one your guests will talk about long after the last song.

Before becoming a wedding DJ, I built my career in radio as an on-air talent, program director, music director, and national weather forecaster. That experience taught me something incredibly important: You have to know how to read the room. A great wedding DJ isn’t just someone who presses play. It’s someone who knows when to turn the energy up, when to give the couple their moment, how to make announcements confidently, and how to keep things moving when the unexpected happens.     While it was not my own wedding I was very impressed with this dj. He truly cares that the bride and groom have the wedding they dreamed of. Most folks only seem to care that they get paid for the gig but this gentleman wanted to make sure they got exactly what they asked for.

    Rod was a great DJ and emcee for our special night. We had a reception of about 70 people. Rod followed our music preferences and the audience’s tastes perfectly. Additionally, he rolled with us when we got a bit behind schedule and he even suggested a switch up to help the night keep moving. He truly is someone who will help make your night special!

Yes. Guest requests can be part of the reception experience while still keeping the music aligned with your preferences.
Ceremony sound is available depending on the package and venue requirements.
Dance-floor lighting is available with qualifying packages.
I primarily serve Indianapolis and Central Indiana, but I also consider weddings throughout Indiana.
