My passion for DJing began nearly two decades ago, starting with spinning for friends at house parties and eventually moving into small venues.     Very professional!

    From the very beginning of the wedding planning process, Joey was incredibly thorough. He provided spreadsheets that made organizing our timeline and soundtrack simple and stress-free. He even created custom mixes for our first dance, as well as our father/daughter and mother/son dances, which made those moments even more special. Joey is charismatic, professional, and knows how to keep a crowd entertained. He kept the energy up all night while making sure everything stayed on schedule. Having him as our DJ meant one less thing to worry about during the planning process, and that peace of mind was invaluable on such an important day. Hopefully I never have to plan another wedding... but if I did, Joey would be my first call. 10/10—I would absolutely hire him again!

    Best DJ around

    Joey R is one of a kind! He has an intuitive sense of what the crowd wants, is personable, communicative, and amazing to work with in general. He makes the experience feel both personable and communal; no matter the taste of the crowd, he has a way of bringing everyone together on the dance floor. His presence and the music he played was my favorite part of the entire experience. I think: having your best friend set the tone for an unforgettable evening. You’ll want to be friends after.

    Great DJ, Best Party!

    Joey was very easy to work with, he arrived early with plenty of time and tested the setup for both our 100-person ceremony and reception in our backyard. The ceremony audio was crisp, easy to understand, no dropouts, and smooth transition from music to speaking. During the reception Joey coordinated nicely with our officiant and master of ceremonies on moving through the different events of the cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing. The music during cocktail hour and dinner set a nice vibe and used our recommendations. During the dancing is where Joey really shined. Our dance floor was packed all night with kid and adults having a wonderful time! Joey balanced well the many requests from guests with our wishes. The evening included me getting to do a karaoke-ish version of Sweet Caroline with my good friend and ending with everyone on the floor doing the Wobble! It was a great party, strong recommend!

His professionalism and courteous nature made everything feel easy and stress-free, which meant so much during the hectic weeks before our wedding.     Best DJ Around!

    We've been using Joey R DJing for our events since our wedding in 2016, and we wouldn't trust anyone else! He's professional, easy to work with, and truly brings your vision to life. He creates the perfect balance of an incredible dance party (and I mean incredible!) while keeping it fun and classy for guests of all ages. Even years later, our wedding guests still tell us how much fun they had and how amazing Joey was as the DJ. He is the only DJ we'll ever use for any of our events, and we can't recommend him enough!
