About Lucas Alexander Music

Lucas Alexander Music

Singer & Acoustic Guitarist

My love for music started when I was five years old, writing songs on the family piano. Eventually, I wanted an instrument I could take anywhere, so I picked up the guitar. What started as a hobby turned into something I’ve built my life around. I’ve been performing professionally for over 10 years, including the last five years playing hotels and honky tonks along Nashville’s Broadway. What I love most about weddings is being part of a day that means so much to people. There’s something special about seeing guests come together, hearing everyone sing along, and knowing the music is adding to the moments they’ll remember.

What sets me apart is the ability to read a room and adapt to the moment. After years of performing for all types of audiences, I’ve learned that great live music isn’t just about the songs. It’s about knowing when to create a quiet, meaningful moment and when to bring everyone together. I bring a wide-ranging repertoire, from timeless classics to today’s favorites, so the music feels personal while still connecting with guests of all ages. My goal is to complement your day, not take it over. I want you and your guests to be fully present while the music adds to the moments that matter most.

    Wedding singer

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding singer for our Clearwater beach wedding ceremony, and that is exactly what Luke embodied. From the very beginning, he was incredibly accommodating, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. He was more than willing to travel for our special day, which meant so much to us, and he went above and beyond to truly understand the exact atmosphere we wanted to create. What stood out most was his dedication to mastering the specific songs we requested. Each one was performed beautifully and with so much emotion—it felt personal, intentional, and tailored to our love story. His voice, combined with the natural setting of the beach, created an incredibly intimate and unforgettable experience. He has a rare talent for setting the tone and making a moment feel deeply meaningful. Our ceremony felt warm, romantic, and uniquely “us,” largely because of his music. Several of our guests stated that he made the ceremony feel that much more magical. If you are looking for someone who is not only talented but also passionate, flexible, and truly committed to making your day everything you envision, we cannot recommend Luke highly enough.

    Groom

Lucas played the guitar for th mother-son dance at my wedding, and he did an amazing job. It was such a special moment, and having him play it live made it even more meaningful. He was super easy to work with, professional, and everything went exactly as we hoped. My wife and I are really glad we had Lucas be a part of our wedding, and we’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented guitarist for their special day.

If you have a special song in mind for your ceremony or first dance, or other special moment, I'll work with you ahead of time to make sure it's ready for your wedding.
I perform live music for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, first dances, and parent dances.
I regularly perform at outdoor weddings. As long as there's access to power and the performance area is protected from the weather, I'm happy to perform outdoors.
What sets me apart is my ability to read the room and adapt to the energy of the people in it. I’m not just there to play music—I pay attention to what the moment needs and make sure the music complements the experience.
I typically arrive 60–90 minutes before the event to allow plenty of time to set up, soundcheck, and make sure everything is ready before guests arrive.
