    Decent

Lovely addition of live music to our wedding and gave such a great experience to guests. However we had some serious communication and timeliness issues throughout the time we booked. We booked 8 months in advance and were clear we had a specific vision for our first dance as we had it professionally choreographed. We spent months on it and have all the details including last minute paying extra for specific sheet music that was said to be needed. Day of- they did not play it correctly which did not allow for us to do our first dance- and took the moment away from us. We are extremely disappointed. To the credit of Tara the owner she did apologize and offer a partial refund which is why we are at 3 and not 1 star.

Amanda, we are glad that you loved your live music in general, and very sorry that the pre-wedding communications did not prepare your vision properly for your first dance. We understand how important the music is on a wedding day, and we’re disappointed that your experience fell short. We would like to clarify that the musicians played the music correctly and the problem was in the communications. After reviewing the communication, we issued a partial refund, and we are also addressing the situation internally. We take the quality of your Sweet Harmony experience seriously, and your feedback is being used to help us strengthen that process going forward. While we know a refund cannot change what happened that day, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and wish you and your spouse all the best.

Easy to book, beautiful to hear

We hired Sweet Harmony to play at our wedding, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Communication leading up to the day was great. Questions were answered promptly, and I felt confident everything was handled. The music added a lovely touch to our ceremony. Our outdoor plans changed because of a hurricane, but the beautiful music helped everyone forget about the change of plans. Thank you for making our wedding more beautiful!

    Highly Recommend Sweet Harmony Musicians

We hired Sweet Harmony Live Music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and they made our wedding day truly special. From our first conversation, the team was easy to reach, professional, and thorough about every detail we needed to cover. They worked closely with us to coordinate the timing and logistics, so everything ran smoothly without any stress on our end. Franklin and Joseph, our violinist and cellist, delivered incredible performances that elevated the entire ceremony and set the perfect tone for the reception. With their extensive song collection, we had plenty of options to choose from and customize our experience. For the talent and care they brought, Sweet Harmony was absolutely worth the investment, and we can't recommend them highly enough.

    Amazing Job

We worked with Sweet Harmony Live Music for our wedding and couldn't have been happier. From the start, they responded quickly to our calls and texts, and always took time to answer our questions personally. On the day of our wedding, they showed up on time and were total professionals. As I was walking outside to the ceremony, I had no idea what was happening around me, but I could hear Sweet Harmony playing and it sounded incredible—it made everything feel magical. They hit the perfect volume and delivered exactly what we imagined for our special day. We'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

We've played modern Egyptian love songs and theme music from Korean TV shows... Weddings are so diverse today and working musicians have to be versatile. Please ask for your favorite songs from your ethnic heritage and we'll see what we can do!
Our musicians will dress in formal black clothing unless otherwise requested.

Yes.
We bring a touch of class to your favorite modern songs. Our classical ensemble style is beautiful, happy, touching, and sweet. And if you book a jazz ensemble, our style is cool, upbeat, and swinging!
We will arrive 30 minutes before we start to play (for example, if your ceremony starts at 5:00, we'll start the prelude music at 4:30 and arrive at 4:00). Some musicians will arrive earlier if they have more to set up, such as harpists and keyboardists.
We will charge a small travel fee ($25-$30) per musician to Staten Island and Long Beach Island. In some cases, we may need you to cover parking, such as certain hotels. We'll look at it on a case-by-case basis.
We don't charge tax.
