PK and the Mighty Seven
PK and the Mighty Seven is a 9-piece powerhouse band built on a foundation of 10+ years performing weddings as a consistent group. Every horn blast, vocal harmony, and rhythm is sharpened by a decade of musical chemistry. We began with a shared love for high-energy soul and funk and an initial Jamiroquai tribute gig, but today we bring that same authentic energy to everything from timeless classics to modern hits. With world-class vocals and a 3-piece horn section, we deliver a wall-to-wall rallying cry to the dance floor that won't be ignored.
We aren’t a rotating roster of session players who just met at the soundcheck (which sadly is a thing). We’re a well rehearsed family of musicians. This consistency allows us to offer unique experiences most bands can't, like providing our full ensemble for cocktail hour playing lush, intentional arrangements for a soulful atmosphere from the first glass clink. Most importantly, you won't deal with a middleman or sales agent. You plan every detail directly with our drummer and booking manager, Matt. When the person who helps map out your vision is the same person anchoring the rhythm section on your wedding night, we never miss a beat.

The best wedding band
We knew even before we got engaged that we wanted PK and the Mighty Seven to be our wedding band after seeing them perform at our friend's wedding... and they absolutely delivered at ours. They are truly outstanding— they learned new songs for our parent dances, a new arrangement for our first dance, and brought the energy, keeping our dance floor packed all night. After the wedding, guest after guest came up to us asking where we found them, raving about how good they were (and wishing the night didn't end). Matt, their booking manager/drummer was very responsive and easy to work throughout the planning process. Could not recommend enough!

From the very first communication to the final song of the night, this band was absolutely unbelievable in every single aspect. I work in the wedding industry and have had the opportunity to work with PKM7 as well as countless other bands over the years, so I can confidently say that I have a pretty high standard when it comes to wedding entertainment. This band didn’t just meet that standard, they completely exceeded it. Their communication, professionalism, energy, talent, and genuine kindness stood out from the very beginning. They were incredibly easy to work with, so responsive, and made the entire process feel effortless. And when it came time to perform, they were on another level. They brought the HIGHEST energy, kept the dance floor packed, and created an atmosphere that our guests won’t stop talking about. What impressed me most, though, was how genuinely kind and wonderful every member of the band was. You can feel when people truly love what they do, and that energy radiated throughout the entire night. Having worked with so many wedding professionals and bands, I can honestly say this band clearly stood out to me. They are the kind of vendor you hope every couple gets to experience. Incredibly talented, professional, energetic, kind, and just an absolute pleasure to work with. If you are considering them for your wedding, BOOK THEM. You will not regret it. They were truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we could not recommend them more highly.

The BEST!!!
PK and the Mighty Seven was the best decision we made for our wedding! Our venue recommended PK and the Mighty Seven to us. After seeing all of their amazing reviews, we knew we had to book them — and after our wedding, we can 100% see why they have so many great reviews! From the very beginning, Matt was so easy to work with. He was super responsive, laid back, and took the time to meet with us several times before the wedding to make sure everything was organized and that he really understood what we wanted for the day. We felt completely taken care of throughout the whole process. We had the full band play during cocktail hour, which I hadn’t seen at many other weddings, and it was phenomenal. It created the perfect fun, relaxed atmosphere and was such a great way to start the night. And then the reception… PK and the Mighty Seven absolutely blew us and our guests away. We have gotten COUNTLESS texts from our friends and family asking who the band was and telling us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. Their energy was unmatched. The lead singer literally sweat through his suit after the first couple of songs because he was clearly giving it his all. The energy was completely contagious, and our guests fed right off of it. The dance floor was packed for the next 2 hours and it was truly a nonstop party. We barely left the dance floor ourselves. PK and the Mighty Seven exceeded every expectation we had and were such a huge part of making our wedding night the absolute best night ever. They didn’t just play music — they completely made the party. Thank you SO much Matt and the entire PK and the Mighty Seven team! We truly couldn’t recommend you guys more!

PK & The Mighty Seven is INCREDIBLE!! I’m not someone who normally writes reviews, but as a bride who just planned a wedding, I think it’s important to recognize the vendors who truly made our day so special. If you’re considering hiring this band, do yourself a favor and book them. Before the wedding, I was a little unsure since I had never heard them perform live and was relying on Instagram clips, reviews, and recordings from their website. They completely exceeded every expectation. Their talent is unbelievable, and they brought so much energy to the night. We had a smaller reception with about 90 guests, and I was worried about keeping the dance floor full. I didn’t need to be. From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was packed and stayed that way all night. They created such an incredible atmosphere and were genuinely so much fun to watch. Their communication and organization leading up to the wedding, as well as on the day itself, were excellent. Everything felt seamless, allowing us to relax and enjoy every minute. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. My husband and I truly had the time of our lives. The only thing I would have done differently is hire them to play longer. They were that good. If you’re looking for a band that will keep your guests dancing all night and make your wedding unforgettable, PK & The Mighty Seven is the one.

Best Wedding Band in Boston
PK and the Mighty Seven was THEE best band for our wedding. We had initially seen them play at porchfest and have gone back to see them each year since. They always draw a massive crowd and they kill it every time. For our wedding we considered getting a DJ for a second but boy are we glad we didn’t. PK brought the heat and they worth every penny. Leading up to the wedding, Matt was great to work with. We had a few calls prior to the wedding to plan songs, and we were able to give some definite YESs and NOs based on their extensive song list. They have great Motown, funk, and pop classics on their list, but they also did fantastic renditions of our pop-punk and ska requests. Matt was super responsive and coordinated with the venue about their logistics. During the wedding itself they brought fantastic energy, and know how to read a room. As (amateur) musicians, they even let us come up to play a song with them which was the most special moment and topped everything off. All around, 11 out of 10. Great to work with, professional, and absolutely rock!
