Dance Band

Smoke Show is a popular 6-piece/female fronted dance band based in Portland, Oregon. Our set list has a nice variety of covers including newer/current material, 80s hits, and a heavy dose of 70s Soul---great music to dance and celebrate to. We are a veteran-owned and fully-insured small business…that just happens to play great dance music! We have all our own PA/lighting equipment and can provide complimentary MC services (if needed) as well. Please have a look at our photos, and video and let us know if we match up with what you're looking for.

Our set list is totally danceable and we know how to put on a performance. Smoke Show has a ton of wedding reception experience. We will work closely with you and your wedding planner to pull off a smooth/fun/great/stress-free evening. We strive to be your favorite vendor!

    Smoke Show

    I was delighted with the band Smoke Show. Every song they played was a familiar danceable song that was entertaining for all ages. They were asked to prepare and play "My Girl" for the father/daughter dance and they played it perfectly. The band leader does a great job of MC'ing and keeping things on track. Very professional group and they sound amazing!

Yes. We'll travel up to 3 hours outside of Portland. The first hour of travel is on us. Subsequent travel time does cost a bit more.
Yes. We can supply a COI to your venue, if needed.
We can go formal or casual for your reception. Whatever fits the vibe.
Yes. If you give us a couple months' notice, we'll do our best to learn a request for you. Anything on our set list is fair game. You can pick any songs off our master list and we'll get them on the set list for your wedding.
Customer service and attention to detail. We know how much effort goes into planning a great reception and we'll do everything we can to help make it happen for you--less stress is best.
Dance Band!!! We play a variety of genres to try to keep everyone on the dance floor.
Load-in depends on the situation, but we usually need a couple hours to set up and sound check. Load out is usually done within 1 hour.
