Georgy Shishkin Photography

Portland, OR
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,900

Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We had Georgy for our engagement pictures and the pictures turned out so great we HAD to have him for our wedding. Since we only really needed him for a couple hours I was able to negotiate with him the price and he is easy to talk to! Georgy was punctual, kind, and professional. Not to mention fast and efficient. We got our pictures within a week!you'd think that with that turn around time, the pictures wouldn't look as good, but I the groom, am a stickler for technical photography and he does very well! I would urge you to work with georgy for your wedding!”

Photography By Cambrae
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,795

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We made the best choice picking Cambrae to be our photographer for our wedding! Months later, we still get so many complements on our photos on how great a job she did and how fun and charismatic she was around the venue on our wedding day. She put everyone at ease and captured amazing shots of our day. Her professionalism, organizational skills, and eye for detail is amazing. Put together with her infectious spirit and an obvious love of what she does, you can’t go wrong.”

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
“I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!”

“My husband and I absolutely loved our experience with KURO Creative House (fka Hereafter Film). Sharayah worked with me from start to finish with an unmatched level of kindness, support and professionalism. Our photographer on the team, Marisa, was equally fantastic and put us at ease with how on top of it she was on our big day. She went above and beyond, expertly handling all details, big and small, not to mention an overly eager mother of the bride. In the end, the photos turned out beautifully. I love the mix of editorial and candid style captured, with warmth felt throughout. These are memories I'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a talented, easy-to-work with photography and/or videography team, we cannot recommend KURO enough!!!”

Portland, OR

  • Starts at $3,100

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m Northwest born, Portland based, and like to think that I have pines trees sprouting from my skin and sun-soaked glacial runoff coursing through my veins. Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. I like to share these details because I strongly believe that connecting with the couples I collaborate with is integral to the creative process of photographing a wedding. A strong connection will result in the best images possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Kyle captured our celebration of marriage with professionalism, compassion and attention to detail. The time he spent in preparing for our first look photos, that were done at a location other than where our wedding took place, was amazing. He scouted the location for us, contacted the park and took time to assure that all of our photos we wanted could be done seamlessly. Kyle was flexible and made our wedding day go smoothly. We felt like he was one of our guests and not just our photographer by the way he melded into our family and friends. When we got our photos we were so excited and thrilled by how they turned out. He captured all of the important moments and documented our day beautifully. We highly recommend Kyle!”

Venture Ever After
Rating: 5.0 (21 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
“When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.”

Hello! I'm Robert. This is me. Let me tell you a bit about who I am and what I do. Love for photography, I am very passionate about working with my camera. If I am creating a little photo for myself that is never seen publicly or a project for a client, I put everything I have into making the photography I create as best I possibly can. “We had an amazing experience working with Modern Art Photograph. From the start, they answered our messages right away and even set up a video chat so we could talk through exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Baileaves Photography

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am the owner of Baileaves Photography. I am a travel and destination wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the world to create timeless cinematic images of couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I'm going to try to put into words how incredible Bailey was, but honestly, the photos speak for themselves. Let me start with this: we were actually excited for the photos because we knew Bailey was great, but my wife and I are AWKWARD in front of a camera. Like, painfully awkward. So there were still some nerves going in. Bailey put those to rest almost immediately and turned the photo shoot into one of my favorite parts of the entire day, second only to actually marrying my wife. She has this way of making you forget the camera is even there. Within minutes we were laughing and just being ourselves, and it shows in every single shot. The amount of prep work she put in blew me away. She scouted locations ahead of time, knew exactly where the light would be at what hour, and had already figured out where we should stand before we even got there. Nothing was left to chance. You could tell she'd thought through every detail long before the wedding day, and it made everything feel effortless on our end. We just showed up and she handled the rest. But here's the thing that says it all: multiple friends came up to us during the reception asking how long we'd known Bailey and if she was a close friend of ours. She was working. That's just how warm and genuinely fun she is to be around. By the end of the night, it really did feel like we'd known her for years. And the photos. They're so natural, so us, and somehow better than anything we could have imagined. Our friends have been raving about them nonstop, showing them to their fiancées, wives, even their moms. We've already had people asking for her info. If you want a photographer with serious talent who also makes the whole experience genuinely fun, Bailey is it. We couldn't be happier.”

Dionne Kraus Photography

Portland, OR

  • Starts at $3,700

I am a firm believer that friendship comes from learning the weird and quirky about a person, and still wanting to hang out with them after. And, since you will literally spend more time with your photographer than most anyone else on your wedding day, I want to be friends. We NEED to be friends. Like, I’ll-probably-end-up-holding-your-dress-up-while-you-pee type friends. That’s practically BFF status. I’m not only in the business of capturing your epically rad and emotional moments, I am also in the business of making lasting friendships, both of which I’m really awesome at.

“Dionne and her husband Craig put on the most wonderful wedding for my wife and I and we couldn't have asked for more. Our guests had a blast on the dance floor all night with Craig (silicon forest entertainment) as our DJ, and every moment throughout the night was captured by Dionne Kraus photography team. Dionne was a blast to work with leading up to and throughout the whole process and her level of expertise is unmatched and we are beyond pleased with how everything turned out. She made the whole process so easy for us and we really love her bubbly personality and shooting style. Her photography bundle/package we feel we really got our moneys worth and going with a second photographer (her assistant) we really captured every detail and beautiful moment of our special day. With that said we 100 percent would recommend Dionne Kraus Photography and Silicon Forest Entertainment, you will not be disappointed.”

My approach is relaxed, low-pressure, and focused on helping you actually enjoy your wedding day instead of feeling like you’re stuck in a photoshoot. I’m there for the happy tears, crooked boutonnières, champagne spills, big hugs, terrible dance moves, and all the little moments that end up meaning the most. Most of my couples don’t want their wedding to feel overly staged or like one long photo shoot. They just want beautiful photos, a fun day with their favorite people, and someone who makes them feel comfortable being themselves - and that’s exactly how I work.

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. “Oh my gosh, where to start. First off, Destiny has the sweetest soul. She is so amazing with what she does, and how she interacts with her clients. She’s treated me and my fiancé like a friend from the beginning, and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We usually feel and get pretty awkward, but Destiny somehow turned us and our love story into art! She did so much work for us, in finding the perfect location, and helping me with my outfit decisions - the whole process from the beginning was so smooth. I am so in love with all of our photos, she helped make me feel so beautiful and really did capture every emotion. I 110% am soooo happy we chose her for our engagement photos. I was a little nervous about receiving the photos, as I usually feel that I don’t look good in photos , but she made us look amazing!! and we had such a fun time together during the photo shoot. I usually have a hard time making decisions, but choosing Destiny as our photographer was one of the best decisions I made”

Hello! I'm Kendra, the face behind Kendi Photos. My style of wedding photography is a mix of candid and formal shots, ensuring a diverse array of photos in your gallery. My favorite part of wedding photography is being there for all the behind the scenes action that the guests don't get to see, especially intimate first look moments. I edit on the side of bright and true to color, enhancing photos without changing the entire vibe. I serve the Pacific Northwest and am based out of the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR areas.
