We’re Rob and Christy, a film + digital photography and videography duo based in both the Pacific Northwest and Florida! We craft timeless portraits and cinematic storytelling that’s as unique as your love story. Whether you’re planning an engagement session, elopement, wedding, or something else, we’re passionate about capturing you!

We blend the nostalgic magic of film with digital photography. Whether it’s 35mm film, dreamy handy cam footage, Super 8 video, or crisp digitals, our hybrid approach adds soul and texture to your story. We also travel (literally, we’ve been all over from Puerto Rico to Hawaii)! From the PNW's wild coastlines to misty mountaintops or international elopements, we’re always down to chase light and love wherever your story takes us. We would describe our style as editorial meets documentary with some classic influence. Or timeless with a filmic touch! Our goal is to give you beautifully composed moments that still feel authentic and natural.

    captured all the moments beautifully

    Working with Rob & Christy was a very smooth experience from start to finish. They were thorough in their communication, we loved the virtual consults so we didn’t feel like total strangers. They were kind to work with, which made us feel at ease on our wedding day. My mom was impressed that they arrived early to scout the venue and capture exterior shots before the parking lot got busy, showing they knew exactly what they were doing. Their film work turned out so pretty and vintage, and they captured all our big moments plus some amazing candid shots as the night went on. When we ran behind schedule, they went with the flow and adjusted without any stress. We couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out and would definitely recommend them to other couples especially those who want film too!

    From the moment we first spoke with Christy and Rob, we were impressed by their calm and kind communication. They answered all of our questions clearly when deciding on a package.     So amazing and kind

    Pixel & Film were lovely. From our very first interaction, they were kind and professional, putting us at ease throughout the entire process- which was nice so we didn’t have to try and think of every little detail. We loved the natural, authentic tones in their work, which felt true to our style. On the day of, we got a bit behind schedule, but they stayed late to capture all the special moments that meant so much to us. Their dedication and passion for their craft truly shone through, and we are thrilled with the beautiful photos that now allow us to relive our wedding day. Yes, we do all retouching/editing ourselves. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. We also retouch things like blemish removal and teeth whitening on all styled/guided portraits.
Yes we do! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we’ll send that over to them.
Yes! We offer photo, video, or both!
You can expect about 50+ images per hour of photographing. This estimate does vary depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my 9 years of photographing, I’ve never cancelled a booking. I worked with a broken foot in May of 2025 even! In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
