With over 20 years of wedding experience and a Minor in Music, I offer a rich, complete sound for your ceremony. What makes my service unique is the ability to provide both rich viola instrumentation and featured vocal cantoring as a single soloist. You receive the complete sound of two musicians in one package! I am also highly experienced with Catholic liturgy, expertly navigating the specific cues, congregational hymns, and acclamations of a full Nuptial Mass seamlessly. From learning custom song requests for secular ceremonies to coordinating directly with your priest or deacon, I take the stress out of your music planning. Absolutely. If you have a special song in mind that is not currently in my repertoire, I am happy to learn it. Because some pieces require purchasing new sheet music or creating a custom vocal and viola arrangement, custom requests are evaluated individually to determine what is needed to make the piece perfect for your event.
I provide music for both of these.
I usually always try to wear black as it's the most professional attire for musicians. I am happy to wear the same color as the bridal party, though, if requested to do so.
Yes. A 50% down payment is required to officially secure your date on my calendar. This ensures your event is locked in and covers the initial consultation and music planning. The remaining balance is due prior to the performance.
Travel within the greater Albuquerque metropolitan area (including Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, and Corrales) is included with all packages. For regional and destination events, flat travel honorariums apply to cover transit and driving time: Santa Fe & East Mountains / Placitas: +$125 flat Jemez Springs, Pecos & Los Alamos: +$200 flat Taos, Angel Fire & Abiquiú / Ghost Ranch: +$300 flat For celebrations elsewhere in the Southwest, custom travel arrangements are available upon request.
Yes. I provide comprehensive vocal and viola performances for both short, non-denominational ceremonies and full Catholic Eucharistic Masses. A full Nuptial Mass requires significantly more musical cues and congregational leadership, which is reflected in a dedicated package rate, while shorter ceremonies fit perfectly into my standard base packages.
To ensure availability and allow ample time for music coordination, I recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance. Because careful planning is required to tailor the music to your specific ceremony, weddings booked within 30 days of the event date include a $150 expedited coordination fee.
