I’ve been a touring drummer for the last decade with Pattern is Movement. I’ve had the pleasure to share the stage with artists like The Roots, St. Vincent, Dirty Projectors, Shabazz Palaces and tour all around the world. I’ve also been booking shows for years at Philly’s own Johnny Brenda’s. My life revolves around music and that is why I love to DJ.
All of my years of listening to and performing music have helped me hone my ability to read a crowd and when I’m spinning a wedding – my focus is to get and keep the party going. So, when you hire me, you’ll get a DJ who is emotionally invested in your day. We’ll work together to figure out the songs you’ve got to hear on that special day as well the ones you do not want played. My job is to get everyone dancing from your Grandma to your best friend and I take that responsibility seriously!

This is my most common package. Most weddings have a cocktail hour that is not within the reception space. I will bring a PA for the cocktail hour as well as my usual Reception setup.

Amazing Music, Seamless Night, Packed Dance Floor
Chris did an amazing job at our wedding! From the beginning, he took the time to understand what we wanted and made the whole process incredibly easy. We had a somewhat unconventional self-uniting ceremony, and he made sure everything flowed seamlessly and that we had everything we needed to execute it the way we envisioned. He also worked all of our music selections into the timeline perfectly and checked in with us closer to the wedding so everyone was on the same page. What stood out most was how much he genuinely cared about how the night went. It never felt like he was just there to do the bare minimum; he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and wanted everything to go well for us. And the dance floor absolutely reflected that. I tried to stay out there all night because the vibe was so good, and so many of our guests raved about the music afterward. I would absolutely recommend The Other Wedding DJ to anyone who wants a great night, a packed dance floor, and one less thing to worry about on their wedding day.

Best wedding DJ ever and it’s not close
We cannot thank Chris enough for his outstanding and exceptional contribution to our wedding. His collaboration and preparation in the buildup was absolute first class (especially given all the last minute curveballs i threw), his communication and expertise was second to none, and of course- the big day- he absolutely brought the house down. The execution of every little queue and nuance throughout the many stages of the whole day was perfect, and the party we always wanted to throw happened because of Chris. It was not only the most fun and best day of our lives, but we have continuously received glowing feedback from our guests about how immaculate the vibes were through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, and how unbelievably fun the dancing was at the reception. Chris made that happen. Again, we cannot thank and recommend Chris enough. We will never forget our beautiful wedding day.
