From our first conversation, Michelle at Michelle's Patisserie made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She responded quickly to our messages and was clear about timelines and pricing, which we really appreciated. Our small vintage cake was stunning and tasted incredible, and the price was fair for the quality we received. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our big day, and her kindness made us feel like we were her only clients. We'd recommend her in a heartbeat to any couple looking for a dessert that's both beautiful and delicious. Five stars all around!

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! We got the Chai flavor and also Chocolate Raspberry and both were a huge hit! When we went to pick up the cake the clerk gave it to us in a box without a lid, but luckily a manager on duty overheard and gave us a completely secure box which was perfect because we were transporting from Austin to New Braunfels ourselves. Overall great experience.

Best Price for the Best Flavor

We came down to Austin for a cake tasting, tried 3-4 different bakeries and Michelle's was FAR AND ABOVE better than any other. Their cake is moist and the flavors are deliciously different. We tried some others and could barely taste the difference in flavors. Michelle & Kim are so nice and easy to talk to. Their pricing is great. They were able to do a late delivery time due to heat, were very accommodating. We got married the first weekend of May outdoors, and it just happened to be a record setting hot day - 105, and there were tons of bugs. SO the cake melted fairly easily, despite only being displayed for 1 hour, and ended up with bugs all over it -- I don't recommend displaying the cake if you're going to have an outdoor wedding because of that. I only had one bite which i'm so sad about, and I know we had tons leftover, but the resort didn't box anything up for us. Anywho, I would chose Michelle's every time over again and can't wait to go back for a slice of cake in the future!

EDIT: The owner, Michelle, personally handled the latest issue, including driving 30 minutes to my house to understand exactly what went wrong with the cake and ensure the mistake is corrected moving forward. She confirmed it was not within expectations and refunded us, also offering to personally make us a replacement cake. Updated stars. Repeated order mistakes for TWO major life events and refusal to take accountability. We loved Michelle’s Patisserie’s Honey Lavender flavor—it was unique, light, and moist after testing it twice. Unfortunately, our experiences ordering it for two separate major life events were complete disappointments. Our Wedding: We spent $800+ on a cutting cake and multiple sheet cakes in Honey Lavender. While the cutting cake was correct, every sheet cake served to our guests was dry, plain vanilla. When we reached out, we were gaslit over multiple emails and told the flavor was correct and only the icing color had changed—despite us having the correct cutting cake right next to it for direct comparison. We eventually settled for a partial refund (only $300 back when NONE of our guests got to have our cake flavor) just to end the stressful back-and-forth. Our Gender Reveal (Over a Year Later): Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I ordered a Honey Lavender cake on August 12th for our gender reveal. We cut into it on camera, only to realize it was dry vanilla again. The moment was completely ruined, and we couldn't even post our reveal video. A friend had to order from another bakery to save the day. After two failed orders, an hour round-trip drive (+ tolls) each time, and zero trust in their quality control or customer service, we are done. Save yourself the heartbreak for your special events and go elsewhere.
