    Delicious Cake, But Not Everything Went as Planned

    I have mixed feelings about our experience with this vendor. On the positive side, they were easy to communicate with, and whenever I had questions, they were quick to answer. Most importantly, the cake itself was delicious! We decided to do a tres leches cake, and our guests really enjoyed it. I also really appreciated that they offered us a cake tasting box since my husband and I had conflicting schedules and weren’t able to do a traditional cake tasting together. They provided us with different cakes, fillings, and icings so we could try everything and decide what we wanted. For the design, I provided the cake I wanted. I understood that the inspiration picture was AI-generated, so I wasn’t expecting the cake to look exactly like the picture. However, some of the specific details I requested were missing from the final design. Unfortunately, there was also an issue with our names being spelled incorrectly on the cake. We specifically requested “Mr. & Mrs. Cruz,” but it was spelled “Mr. & Mrs. Curz.” Thankfully, our wedding planner caught the mistake and brought it to our attention. She, along with the venue, was able to help fix the issue by putting a plaque on the cake with the correct spelling before the reception. The biggest issue, however, was the amount of cake. We were told that there would be enough cake to serve approximately 60–65 people, and we actually had fewer guests attend than expected. Unfortunately, there still wasn’t enough cake for everyone. Our venue had to provide different desserts to the last two tables because we ran out of cake. Overall, the cake tasted amazing, and there were definitely positives to working with this vendor. However, the design details, misspelled names, and especially not having enough cake for our guests were disappointing, particularly for something as important as our wedding. I’m glad our wedding planner and venue were able to catch and help resolve some of the issues, but I do think there were some things that could have been handled better.

    My Wedding cake experience with shalom bakery

    Shalom bakery was so wonderful. They were very graceful from beginning to the end. I ordered Vanila and Red velvet 3 tier cake and it was sooo good. The banana bread also was super nice. It was very balanced. They listen and they also ask for allergies, I was shocked at the attention to detail. Their communication also was on point all through out the wedding prep process. I’d definitely get another cake from them soon.

Every detail mattered to him he was meticulous about following myspecific instructions and truly cared about getting things right. The quality of the desserts was outstanding, with so much intention behind every single element.     Shallom Bakery is amazing

    Shallom Bakery planned my 40th birthday and it was all shades of amazing. From the start, they listened carefully and took notes to understand exactly what I wanted. They went beyond just baking and helped bring my full vision to life. They sourced some of my vendors, followed up with them, and made sure everything was in place. By the time I arrived, my venue was fully ready. I did not have to worry about anything. Everything flowed smoothly. They also made sure my guests were well fed and properly taken care of. That level of attention stood out. Shallom Bakery is truly top notch. I give them 5 stars.
