Velvet Bloom is a small-batch bakery based in Seven Hills, Ohio, creating elegant wedding desserts for couples throughout the Greater Cleveland area. Founded by professional chef Allie Morrison, Velvet Bloom pairs thoughtful design with distinctive flavors inspired by European pastry, seasonal ingredients, and tea-forward flavors. Every order is made from scratch with close attention to flavor, texture, and presentation. From intimate layered cakes to curated dessert displays, each creation is designed to feel personal, memorable, and beautifully suited to your celebration

We pair the creativity of a professional chef with the personal attention of a small-batch bakery. My desserts go beyond traditional wedding flavors, drawing inspiration from Europe, Asia and Scandinavia. Every cake and dessert is made from scratch and thoughtfully designed. Couples receive a deeply personal experience that feels uniquely theirs. We specialize in artfully composed desserts and layer cakes with refined, minimalist finishes. We do not currently offer highly intricate cake decoration, but we’re happy to coordinate colors, garnishes, florals, and more with the style of your celebration.

A beautiful and approachable option for intimate celebrations, featuring three dozen handcrafted cupcakes in up to three signature Velvet Bloom flavors.     Dessert Table

    I hired Allie to make the dessert table for my friends backyard wedding. It was great. We asked for an assortment of desserts like layered cheesecake cups, cookies, cupcakes etc… She was reasonably priced and even though i didn’t ASK for much variety, her menu had a lot of awesome choices for those who would want something more intricate or exciting. Would definitely recommend.

    We were so impressed with Velvet Bloom Bakery from our first conversation. The owner Allie responded quickly to all our questions and walked us through flavor options and quantities in a way that made planning stress-free. On our wedding day, the desserts arrived beautifully presented and on time, so we could focus on celebrating instead of worrying about anything at all. Her attention to detail and professional approach showed in every element of what she made for us. The attentively to detail and flavors were outstanding, and honestly, our guests couldn't stop talking about how good everything tasted.     Amazing!

    From our first conversation with Allie at Velvet Bloom Bakery, we knew we had found the right person for our dessert needs. She answered our questions quickly and patiently, always keeping us informed about what was possible for our vision. Instead of a traditional layer cake, Allie created intricate smaller desserts that were both delicious and stunning, making our dessert display feel completely unique.     Beautiful Outside, Delicious Inside

    Sometimes, beautiful packaging hides subpar products. This isnt the case with Velvet Bloom. I had the swedish buns and fruit preseves and they were DELICIOUS. Would highly recommend.

Yes. A curated tasting box is included with booked wedding orders of $500 or more. Tastings for smaller orders or before booking may be purchased separately, and the tasting fee can be applied toward a qualifying wedding order. Price for a small tasting box starts at $35 and up.
Velvet Bloom can accommodate many dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-conscious requests. Because all products are prepared in a shared home kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts, I cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens or cross-contact. Halal- and kosher-certified options are not currently available.
The right size depends on your guest count and how you plan to serve dessert. For cupcakes, we generally recommend one per guest, or slightly more when offering multiple flavors. For a full dessert table, plan for approximately two to three individual treats per guest. Layer cakes are portioned using standard wedding-size servings. Share your guest count, dessert plans, and preferred variety with us, and we’ll recommend the perfect amount for your celebration.
Yes, delivery is available and pricing depends on the location, distance, and size of the order. Any applicable fee will be included in your custom quote.
Yes! I offer custom designs within reason and will work with you to create something that complements your event and fits my signature style. Please note that I do not recreate copyrighted characters, logos, or other protected designs.
