    They ruined my wedding reception.

    We had Black Swan cater our wedding on 8/28/26 and not only did they show up an hour late, they also forgot plates and they came with no food for our reception. We had guests waiting for an hour and a half for food and it completely ruined the timeline for our reception. Half of our guest count left without eating because Black Swan fumbled the ball so hard, which sucked because we paid for each person to eat and definitely did not get our moneys worth. Additionally, we had workers scraping food and being disruptive and disrespectful during speeches when we finally got to them because of Black Swans tardiness and we had a worker break a glass and walk off and not once offer to clean it. We also paid the 200 cleaning fee which apparently does not include rinsing off dishes. My husband had to roll his sleeves up on our wedding day to clean the dishes because Black Swan said it wasn’t their job even though we paid a cleaning fee. We wish we had never booked with black swan as it completely ruined our reception. If you are thinking of booking with them, think again. Also the food was awful. If Anyone liked the food it was because they were starving and had nothing else to eat.

    Exceptional Catering Service

    Black Swan Catering was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process - they responded quickly to all our questions and requests via text. The owner offered helpful suggestions that enhanced our vision. On the big day, the food and service was exceptional. We asked them to prepare arroz con gandules, a Dominican dish they had not made previously. They embraced the challenge and impressed our Dominican family with the authentic flavors. Overall, Black Swan Catering's expertise, flexibility and attentive service made meaningful contributions to our special day.
