Cherished Events and Catering is a family-owned, full-service catering company led by owner and chef Cherish LaCook. With over 10 years of experience, we specialize in creating custom menus and memorable dining experiences for weddings and special events. We take pride in working with dietary restrictions and preferences, and we never use food dyes or hydrogenated oils. Every dish is made from scratch with care, because if we wouldn’t serve it to our own family, we won’t serve it to yours. Our goal is to make every event stress-free, meaningful, and truly cherished.

    Excellent food and service!!!

    Wedding Catering

    We had so many compliments from our guests! They pre made our (bride & groom) plates and served us our food to ensure we ate, which is hard to do at your own wedding, and they were so attentive. The food was delicious and service was great. Would definitely recommend Cherished Events and Catering for any wedding/event you need!

We do charge a $65 setup and delivery fee, which covers travel up to 100 miles. For anything beyond that, we charge $1 per mile. This helps ensure everything arrives fresh, on time, and beautifully set up for your event.
Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest for a small fee. If you sign a contract with us beforehand, we can waive this fee.
We’re happy to travel and cater events across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Travel within 100 miles is included, and for locations beyond that, a small mileage fee applies. If your event is more than four hours away, we kindly ask for overnight accommodations.
We don't have a minimum
We pride ourselves on working closely with all dietary restrictions and allergies, and we’re always happy to offer thoughtful vegetarian and vegan options. Your guests’ needs matter to us, and we take great care to ensure everyone feels included and well cared for.
We offer rentals of cutlery, dishes, wine glasses, tea glasses, black tablecloths, table runners, and chargers to help create a beautiful and cohesive setup for your event.
We offer cake cutting services for a flat fee of $50, allowing you to relax and enjoy your celebration while we take care of the details.
As cliché as it sounds, the sooner the better — especially if you already have a date picked out. Booking early helps ensure availability and gives us plenty of time to customize the perfect menu for your event.
We love meeting our couples at least once, whenever possible, for a tasting and to get to know you and your vision. After that, we’re happy to stay in touch through phone calls and emails — communication is important to us, and we truly enjoy building a relationship with our couples throughout the planning process.
