Hi, I’m Emma! Growing up surrounded by incredible Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooks, I fell in love with bold flavors, traditions, and food that brings people together. I created Flame & Flavor to share that experience with San Diego. Inspired by my Lebanese, Armenian, and Greek heritage, we’re a woman-owned catering business specializing in warm, rustic celebrations where great food is the centerpiece. Our style isn’t fine dining, it’s generous, flavorful food served through beautiful family-style feasts and abundant buffets, creating an experience your guests will remember.

Flame & Flavor serves 100% seed oil-free Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine made with extra virgin olive oil, real butter, premium meats, and fresh ingredients. What sets us apart is our live-fire experience, with certified charcoal grills cooking right on-site. Our signature charcoal-grilled lamb chops are always a guest favorite and bring something truly special to the wedding table. Our style is warm and rustic, and we’re happy to work with your wedding planner and florist to complement your vision and bring your celebration to life.

    Amazing Food!

    We loved having Flame & Flavor cater our event! The Mediterranean food was delicious and a big hit with our guests. They were easy to work with and did a great job partnering with our florist. We're really happy with the service and the food.

    Best mediterranean food ever!

    Flame and Flavor provided top-notch catering for our wedding. Their communication throughout the planning process was very easy and smooth, which helped make everything run seamlessly. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, from the delicious food to the impeccable service. The chicken was extremely tender, and the beef was also perfectly cooked. Everything was thoughtfully seasoned and tasted incredible. We received so many compliments from our guests on the quality of the catering. Flame and Flavor truly contributed to making our special day unforgettable.

Yes, our event minimum is 50 people for all weddings.
Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest for a small fee. If you sign a contract with us beforehand, we can waive this fee.
We recommend meeting 2 more times after your tasting. One meeting will focus on finalizing menus and headcount. One to go over final venue and wedding logistics. We also definitely will keep in touch on the phone making sure everything is perfect.
For summer and fall weddings, we recommend at least 30-60 days in advance.
Yes, we charge a standard fee for delivery. Additional fees apply depending on what type of catering.
