Italian Brothers Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant and wedding caterer based in Los Gatos. Led by brothers Giacomo and Marco Montevago, we bring authentic Sicilian flavors and warm Italian hospitality to celebrations throughout the Bay Area. We create customized menus for intimate weddings and larger receptions, with buffet or family-style service, passed or stationary appetizers, dessert service, bar options, and professional staffing. From the first conversation through setup and service, our goal is to make planning easy and give every guest a generous, memorable taste of Italy.

What sets us apart is the combination of restaurant-quality Italian food and personal, family-run service. Chef Giacomo oversees the kitchen, while Marco works directly with each couple to shape the menu and service around their venue, guest count, dietary needs, and budget. We do not force couples into rigid packages: every proposal is customized. For couples who prefer not to arrange traditional china rentals, elegant recyclable plates, flatware, and drinkware can be added by request. Couples choose us for authentic Sicilian flavors, flexible planning, and an attentive team that treats every wedding like a family celebration.

    Perfect Wedding Catering

    Our experience with Italian Brothers Restaurant as our wedding caterers was exceptional. Their communication throughout the planning process was excellent - they were always responsive to our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, they truly went above and beyond, even accommodating a last-minute vegan meal request from one of our guests. The quality of their work was top-notch, and we were so grateful that they brought us dinner and dessert plates to our sweetheart table during the chaos of the celebration. The food was delicious and our guests raved about it. We highly recommend Italian Brothers Restaurant for any couple looking for an outstanding catering experience for their wedding day.

    Used Italian Brothers two time. It was great.

    Italian Brothers Restaurant was an excellent wedding caterer to work with. Their communication via text and email was very prompt and detailed, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, they arrived 2 hours early to set up everything, from the bar and food service to the cake cutting and champagne toast. The execution of their work, from heating the food to serving and cleaning up, was flawless, allowing us as the couple to fully enjoy our special day without any need for attention on our part. We are extremely happy with the quality of Italian Brothers' services and highly recommend them to any couples planning their wedding.

    Authentic Italian catering!

    Italian Brothers Restaurant was the perfect last-minute caterer for our wedding. When our previous caterer backed out, Marco and his family stepped in with a customized menu of delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. Their communication was professional and friendly, and they were incredibly prompt in getting everything organized.     Italian Brothers Restaurant

    Italian Brothers Restaurant has catered several important celebrations at our home over the last few years. They are very easy to work with, professional and accommodating at all stages of the planning and the service they provide the day of the events. The most recent event, our 40th Wedding Anniversary Party, Marco and his family delivered the food, set up the buffet table, served the delicious meal, and cleaned up when the meal was completed, after many of our guests had gone back for seconds and thirds! We had asked Marco for assistance with serving cocktails before dinner and throughout the the evening, which he did attentively and with kind care to our guests. We would recommend Italian Brothers for your wedding or any event you may be planning. Enjoy!

    Best catering decision on our special day

    I had heard great things about the Italian brothers in Los Gatos. I had even been to their restaurant and all our friends and family raved about it. So, when we had a special event coming up, I thought, why not check if they offer live catering? And guess what? When I went to their website, it was exactly what I needed! I couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. Marco was such a friendly and wonderful person to talk to. I explained the event, gave him the guest list count, and decided on the menu. The day arrived, and Marco and his team arrived ahead of time to set everything up. And the rest is history! The food was hot, fresh, and very well made. They also make really good cocktails, so I even let them take care of the bar duties. Marco and his family’s hospitality made the day even more special. And what made me even happier is that all the guests were thrilled. I highly recommend them for any catering needs you might have for any event in your life. I’m sure they’ll do their best to make it even more special.

Yes. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free menu requests depending on the selected dishes. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary needs during the planning process so we can recommend suitable options. Our food is prepared in a shared kitchen, so we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contact with allergens.
Yes. We offer a complimentary initial consultation. Qualified couples may schedule a discounted tasting dinner for two at our Los Gatos restaurant. The food portion is offered at 50% off. If the wedding is confirmed and the deposit is received, the amount paid for the tasting is credited toward the final catering balance, up to $100. Alcohol, tax, and gratuity are excluded.
We typically meet 2-3 times before the wedding. The first meeting is to discuss your vision and preferences for the menu, followed by a tasting session to finalize your selections. The final meeting is usually to take a look at the venue, ensuring we understand the layout and can coordinate catering logistics smoothly. If needed, we are always available for additional consultations to make sure everything is perfect for your big day.
We do not coordinate third-party rentals such as tables, chairs, linens, or traditional china. If you prefer, we can provide elegant recyclable plates, flatware, and drinkware as part of your catering quote. Any venue rentals remain the responsibility of the couple, planner, or venue.
We recommend booking our catering services at least 6 to 12 months in advance for weddings and larger events to ensure availability and allow ample time for planning. However, if your event is approaching sooner, feel free to reach out—we'll do our best to accommodate last-minute requests based on our schedule.
We cater weddings throughout the Bay Area, including Los Gatos, San Jose, the South Bay, San Francisco, and the East Bay. Events outside our standard service area may be available with an additional travel fee, depending on the location and event details.
Yes. We can provide professional bartenders and bar service, and help you plan the beverage menu, estimate quantities, and prepare a shopping list for wine, beer, spirits, mixers, signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. The client is responsible for purchasing the alcohol; we do not provide a liquor license or sell alcohol for off-site events.
We typically require a deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the event. The exact payment schedule can be customized to meet your needs, and we accept various payment methods. We will discuss the details during the booking process.
Every proposal is customized around your guest count, venue, menu, and service style. We offer buffet and family-style catering, with optional passed or stationary appetizers, professional serving staff, bar service, dessert or cake service, and elegant recyclable tableware. Traditional venue rentals are not included.
The number of staff members will depend on the size and scope of your event. We will ensure there are enough chefs, servers, and bartenders to provide seamless service, with attention to detail and a smooth dining experience for you and your guests.
When food-safety and venue rules allow, we can package remaining food in appropriate containers for the couple to take after the event. Leftovers should be refrigerated promptly. Final handling depends on the menu, service conditions, and venue requirements.
