Old Southern BBQ is a family owned neighborhood restaurant that prides itself on not taking any shortcuts when it comes to our food or our guests! Our meat is smoked fresh daily and our sides are made from scratch in small batches to ensure they are legendary. We have 4 locations - Rice Lake WI, Hudson WI, Minneapolis MN, and Arden Hills MN.

Our meat is smoked fresh daily and our sides are made from scratch in house in small batches to ensure they are legendary. All of our sauces & rubs are gluten free. We have a variety of side dishes offered that are GF. Our BBQ Bowls are a great vegetarian option. Want to make your wedding "The Talk of the Town"? Check out our Featured Experiences! From our first conversation with Old Southern BBQ Smokehouse, we knew we had found the right caterer for our wedding. The team was efficient to work with, kind in every interaction, and clearly knew their craft inside and out. On the day of our wedding, their food was absolutely delicious and arrived right on schedule, which set the perfect tone for our celebration. Our photographer even mentioned how full they were—something that apparently never happens at weddings! We were so impressed that we're already planning to visit their other locations. If you're looking for a caterer who delivers both exceptional food and genuine care, Old Southern BBQ Smokehouse is the way to go.

The Most Delicious BBQ
Old Southern BBQ Smokehouse was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, they provided quick responses to all of our questions and requests. On the day of, their team efficiently set up, served, and cleared away plates after our guests enjoyed the most delicious BBQ we've ever tasted. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, making the whole experience seamless. We couldn't have asked for a better catering team to be a part of our special day.

First of all the food at our wedding was amazing! Food was there on time no issues at all . Could tell they were a pro at what they do and took pride in everything! We Love Old Southern
Old Southern BBQ catered our wedding and it was amazing! All of our guest were raving how good the food was. The servers the day of were professional and had a friendly manor. We worked with Amy to plan our menu and she was very pleasant to work with and fast to reply to emails and questions. If you hire Old Southern you won’t be disappointed!

Reliable and Affordable
My husband and I loved working with Old Southern for our wedding catering! Amy was great to work with through the booking and planning process. The team that arrived on the day of was professional and kind. All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was!
