We are Stephen and Rae! We met as teenagers in 2007 and married in 2012. We originally started college together in PA when Stephen encouraged me to pursue me passion in cooking. We moved to MA for me to attend Le Cordon Bleu while Stephen studied law. We settled here permanently after graduation. In 2020 I started RGKkitchen. Working together came naturally and quickly took off. Our most popular areas are Cape Cod, Boston, Newport/Middletown, & Narragansett. We service all of RI, the MA coast, and down to Mystic, CT. We typically travel within 80 miles of 02748 but do go further for some events. We're happy to accommodate if we can!

We love to utilize local vineyards/breweries, local farms/boats for meat & seafood, as well as any local produce we can get our hands on. We frequent Ward's Berry Farm, Sweet Berry Farm & Nourse Farm in the summer for fruit picking dates. We love backyard/Airbnb weddings. They are our niche!

M & K were the sweetest couple who really loved food. They wanted to do a heavy appetizers style menu with a large grazing table to accommodate many different tastes. (Texas family vs Ohio family). It was a beautiful backyard wedding and everyone was just so happy the whole time. It was such a blast cooking for them and setting it all up.

    Best decision we made!!

    Hiring Rae & RGKKitchen was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Wedding food is a huge decision, and we could not be any happier. From the moment I first reached out, Rae was responsive, kind, professional, and extremely helpful. She helped us pick out a menu that felt like us, and her presentation was absolutely stunning. She even brought us food during cocktail hour while we were still taking photos so that we didn’t miss a single thing! We had our own plates waiting for us when we got a moment to ourselves, and all we could hear the guests talking about as we walked through cocktail hour was how delicious everything was. Dinner was even better! The presentation was beautiful, and everything was served hot with plenty of food for everyone and even leftovers for us to take home! We immediately said to one another that we can’t wait to hire her for our events in the future and to enjoy her food many more times. I could not recommend her and her husband any more, they are so incredibly kind and we loved having them as part of our day. Their presence was so incredible and they were so involved, the food was just the cherry on top!

    So many compliments on our wedding food

    We have not stopped getting compliments on the food for our wedding. Every person loved Rae’s dinner! She and her husband were a wonderful part of our day, they were so personable, kind, and fun to have around. Rae was so easy to work with and made sure we got everything we wanted. All of the little touches she thought of really made the day more special. Highly highly recommend her for your wedding or any other party!

    The *best* experience we could've asked for!

    Working with Rae, Stephen and their team was so much fun from start to finish. We had a wonderful tasting where they made us feel right at home (fell in *love* with the food) and then did everything they could do to make our day perfect. We had a LOT of pivots to make (hellllllo, rainy day) and they both handled everything flawlessly and went above & beyond with everything. We would work with them again and again, truly great people and very, very talented. Our guests loved everything and couldn't say enough good things. You will absolutely not regret working with these guys – we felt so grateful to have linked with them!

    My mouth is still watering. We had the absolute pleasure of having RGKkitchen for our wedding on September 19th. From the first initial contact with Rae to them closing their car doors and leaving our wedding after cheffing up a delicious spread, it was the best experience! They handled everything and ensured my husband and I got to eat too. I hope I can use them again in the future! We couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

We are based out of 02748 and typically serve the eastern coast of Massachusetts and about as west as Northborough, MA, all of Rhode Island, and go down to about Mystic, Connecticut. If you are outside of these areas we do travel when possible. We've done a a few events down by Shelton, Ct and out by Brimfield, MA. Just ask us and we'll see if we can make it work!
Yes! We do tons of events without nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, shellfish, etc. Either fully omitting allergies or having plenty of safe options for the group. We can accommodate vegetarians and vegans as well. Our two owners have severe allergies themselves requiring epi-pens so this is something they take seriously.
No! We service all sorts of events! Wedding related events for us are usually bachelorette parties, bridal showers, pre-wedding breakfast/lunch, post wedding brunch, weddings, etc We also do date nights, birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries.
For summer and fall weddings that are on Fridays/Saturdays, we recommend at least 6-8 months in advance. June specifically is our busiest month every year. We are a private chef and catering so many times in the summer we are working a lot of wedding related events from bachelorettes to shower so the sooner you have an idea the better.
