Keane’s Wood-Fired Catering was founded by husband and wife team, Padraic and Kaylyn Keane. Padraic grew up working in his parents’ village pub in Galway, Ireland and moved to the United States in 2015 where he became fascinated with traditional southern barbecue. Padraic welded his first wood-fired smoker at the Steel Yard in Providence and Keane’s held their first catered event at Whalers Brewing in South Kingstown in 2016. Since then Keane’s has continued to build a reputation for exceptional food and service.

The Keane’s team proudly provides a unique wood-fired catering experience, offering some of the best barbecue in the region to clients all over Southern New England. We look forward to serving you and your guests!

The best of the best!
There are a million reasons Keane’s has been awarded the top caterer in Rhode Island. It’s hard to put into words what their service meant to us throughout the wedding process. Alicia’s patience and attention to detail during planning, and her certainty that the day would go just as planned was very much appreciated as a nervous bride. Additionally, as someone with a laundry list of allergies, Keane’s took the time to sit down with me and create a menu that I could fully enjoy. To sum it up, the one thing we’ve heard from each and every guest since the wedding is, “Wedding food is usually fine at best, and that was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.” Highly recommend the brisket, cornbread, broccoli salad, and of course their chocolate chip cookies. Thank you to Keane’s for your exceptional service and your delicious food. You’ve got customers for life.

Incredible Catering, Bar Service and More!
From the moment we met with Kym, we were excited to work with the entire Keane's team. They were able to work with us on a great menu and how to bring the vision of our wedding to life. From signature his/hers cocktails to our passed appetizers, the quality and flavors were wonderful! Kym was incredibly accommodating with meeting with us on different time zones and when we were in the area pre-wedding. The day of the wedding, it was magical seeing guests walk past the smokers and see the prep work in an open outdoor kitchen. We still get compliments about the food and family members have asked us about Keane's take out service so they can have that brisket again! Alicia was an amazing day-of support and allowed us to truly enjoy the wedding without a worry and supported us with decor and logistics. Keane's played a huge role in making our vision for our wedding come to life!!

Keane’s Catering Made Our Day Perfect
Keane’s was absolutely amazing! The food was beyond delicious. I’ve been to so many weddings where I can’t even remember the food, but I had been to two weddings catered by them prior to mine and their food stuck with me. I knew I had to have them for my own wedding, and they did not disappoint. One of the best parts was that they also provided an event coordinator. Alicia, my day of coordinator, was incredible! She was in touch with me months before the wedding, answering every single one of my questions, and on the day of she made everything run so smoothly. From the ceremony to the reception, she had everything perfectly organized, and I never had to stress. The catering staff was professional, attentive, and truly wonderful. They set up, cleaned up, and cleaned made sure everything was flawless. Our friends and family are still raving about how amazing the food was. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Delicious!
Keane's Wood-Fired Catering was a wonderful small business that contributed greatly to making our wedding day special. From the very beginning, their communication was professional yet warm, and they were incredibly easy to work with. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food they provided, as well as the seamless service they delivered throughout our event. The ability to do tastings and get takeout before signing any contract or putting down a deposit really made all the difference in our decision to go with Keane's.
