Our three-season heated South Patio offers a unique waterfront private dining space for you and your guests. Whether you are gathering for a rehearsal dinner or merely celebrating the Summer with a cocktail reception, enjoy a sunset view across the Sakonnet River while relaxing in the surroundings of our newly renovated patio. Should the temperature turn chilly, comfortable heaters will keep you and your guests warm and dry.

Highly Recommended for 70 Guests
We chose The Boat House for our wedding and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. From the first conversation, the team was efficient and easy to work with—they asked the right questions upfront so our day ran smoothly without needing constant direction. The servers and event staff moved like clockwork, and they were flexible with our vendors on site. The food was fantastic, the water views were gorgeous, and the intimate setting (max 72 guests) made our celebration feel special. The dance floor is on the smaller side and the DJ has to plug into the house speakers, but we had a blast dancing (the 5-hour time slot leave about 1.5 hours for dancing). If you're looking for a venue that delivers on food quality and natural beauty without the fuss, The Boat House is worth considering. (Note: they're expanding in Winter '26, so some details may change after that.)

Best Venue!
The Boat House was the venue of our dreams! We had a smaller wedding with 60 guests, and the location was perfect for what we needed. Even though we had planned for the ceremony to be outdoors, we had to quickly change to to the weather. Everything felt seamless and the event staff was phenomenal. The venue is picturesque, and the photos our photographer captured on the dock, on the south patio, and inside are truly stunning. Also the FOOD was PHENOMENAL!! Our guests continue to rave about it. A special thanks to Lauren for helping our day go by smoothly and stress free!
