Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I’m Stephanie, a Charleston native and the owner and maker behind Charleston Soy Works. I create totally customizable wedding favors, handmade in Summerville with clean, skin-loving ingredients. From the label and wording to the fragrance, each candle can be designed to complement your wedding, welcome bags, bridal shower, or bachelorette weekend—giving your guests a thoughtful, personal piece of Charleston.

Our totally customizable Body Oil Candles are three gifts in one: a clean-burning candle, a rich skin-softening balm, and a warm, nourishing body oil. Made with soy wax, shea butter, and sweet almond oil, they’re beautiful, useful, and unlike the typical wedding favor. Guests can light them, apply them directly as a balm, or enjoy the melted oil as a moisturizer—making them a unique Charleston favor your guests will actually use and love.

Description

After about 10 minutes of burning, each candle melts into warm body lotion made with clean, skin-loving ingredients.

    Beautiful Candles & Wonderful Service

    Charleston Soy Works is wonderful! Their candles are beautiful, smell amazing, and are made with such care. I especially love that their products aren’t just beautiful to look at and fragrant, but can also leave your skin feeling incredibly soft and silky. These make amazing gifts. They’re unique, thoughtful, and something anyone would be excited to receive. Stephanie was also fantastic to work with. She was so helpful, kind, and made the entire experience such a pleasure. You can truly tell there is a lot of heart behind Charleston Soy Works and their products. I highly recommend them and will definitely be purchasing from them again!

    The Perfection of Charleston Soy Works

    From the first contact to the delivered product, the owner was communicative, complete and went the extra mile. Even asking to see our invitations to make sure we were on the same page in making our favors perfect-they were the perfect complement! I cannot say enough about how seamless, thorough and collaborative the whole process was; not to mention everyone's favorite wedding favor! Charleston Soy Works was perfection in quality, affordability, ease of use and making sure our special day had such amazing favors the guests were fighting over them. I have already booked her for 4 more candle making parties and 3 other friends shower favors!

    I recently attended a Charleston Soy Works Sip and Pour event. We had so much fun! Not only mixing our own scents and making candles and fragrance, but also making friends. And doing it all while having such a great time!

    We had such a good time. It was definitely a good vibe. The host did a great job, the wine was delicious. The scents smelled good. My favorite part was the naming of the candles. I will be returning! XOXO Shirl lemon swirl 😉

    I love Charleston Soy Works. I've been to Stephanie's events a few times and she never disappoints. I love using natural products on my skin and these candles are a 3 in 1. I highly recommend!!

Our candles are lotion candles, which means they are more than just a pretty candle. After about 10 minutes of burning, the wax melts into warm body lotion made with clean, skin-loving ingredients like soy wax, shea butter, and sweet almond oil.
Yes. Labels can include names, wedding dates, initials, monograms, bridal party roles, or custom messages.
We offer 4 oz candles for favors, welcome bags, and showers, and 6 oz candles for bridal party gifts or special guests. The 6 oz candles include a wooden spoon.
Yes. You can choose from our existing Charleston Soy Works scents or create a custom wedding scent for a $30 setup fee.
Our 4 oz personalized favor candles have a 10-candle minimum. Additional candles are available à la carte for $10 each.
