My first day of Kindergarten, my parents asked me what I hoped to do at school that day. I responded by saying, "I want to paint, paint a picture for my sister." I studied art in college and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Tennessee Tech University in 2006. I worked as an art educator for several years and as a full time independent artist since 2012. I have been featured by a number of podcasts, magazines, TV, as a keynote speaker, and across the globe.

A True Artist with the Sweetest Heart!
Some wedding vendors provide a service, but others create something that you will treasure for the rest of your life. Heather gave us exactly that, and we couldn’t be more grateful! ️ From the moment we booked Heather as our live wedding painter, she was an absolute dream to work with! She is genuinely one of the sweetest people, so kind, patient, professional, and incredibly talented. Her communication was amazing from the very beginning. Every email was answered quickly, and she made the entire process feel so easy and personal. About a month or two before our wedding, we had a planning call where we discussed all the little details of what we envisioned for our painting. Heather listened to everything we wanted and even created a beautiful preliminary sketch so we could visualize what our finished artwork would look like. I absolutely LOVED how much thought and care she put into the process before our wedding day even arrived! And then… Mother Nature decided to test everyone’s flexibility! Because of a hurricane and tropical storm, it rained ALL DAY on our wedding day, forcing us to move our originally planned outdoor ceremony indoors. Now, here’s where Heather truly amazed me! Literally the DAY BEFORE our wedding, I reached out to her asking if we could completely change the setting of our painting to reflect our new indoor ceremony location. After all, I wanted this artwork to capture one of the most meaningful moments of our lives — the moment we said “I DO.” Not only was Heather completely understanding, but she immediately embraced the change without making us feel like we were asking too much. She created ANOTHER sketch for the new setting, listened to all our requests, and adjusted everything with such kindness and ease! And when we finally saw the painting… OH MY GOODNESS!!! BREATHTAKING doesn’t even begin to describe it! Her talent, her attention to detail, the way she captures the atmosphere, the emotion, and the beauty of such a meaningful moment are absolutely extraordinary. Watching our wedding memories come to life on a canvas was such a special experience. What makes Heather even more wonderful is that behind all that incredible artistic talent is a genuinely beautiful soul. You can tell how much she loves what she does and how deeply she cares about creating something meaningful for her couples. We haven’t even received our final painting yet, and we are already SO IN LOVE with it! We honestly cannot wait to bring it home, hang it on our wall, and admire it for years to come. To think that one day we will be able to look at this painting and relive the exact moment we said our vows is something truly priceless. Heather, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you for your patience, your flexibility, your kindness, your incredible talent, and for turning one of the most important moments of our wedding into a beautiful piece of art that will become a family heirloom. More Than Just a Painting
Having Heather as our live painter was one of the most special parts of our wedding day. It was truly unforgettable to watch her turn such a meaningful moment into a beautiful painting. Seeing it come together on canvas amazed not just us, but all of our guests- everyone was talking about it. One of the most touching moments was when she included us by letting us add our own brushstrokes. That simple gesture made the artwork feel even more personal and emotional. HEATHER CHANGED MY ENTIRE WEDDING DAY
Heather changed the vibe of my entire wedding day. This painting experience was gifted to us by my mother in law - and not only is it now a forever keepsake, but it was a TOTAL guest experience. Checking in on our painting throughout the night was so much fun. Our friends and family loved it so much. Working with Heather before our wedding was so fun - we hopped on the phone a week before because she wanted to completely understand my vision and hopes for our painting - and she delivered MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED. She was absolutely without a doubt our favorite vendor. Heather was a joy to work with. Not only did she bring such incredible energy to our day, but she also went above and beyond to film so much iPhone content that I would have otherwise NEVER had of our wedding day. She (discreetly) filmed our vows, our grand entrance, my walk down the aisle, etc. I truly would have hired her just for this alone. I was so so soooo thankful to receive all of these (total surprise) from her the next day. This is something that makes Heather stand out amongst other vendors - this did not by any means fall under her promises to deliver but she did it anyway which I think speaks volumes to the person she is. She was so happy to just be apart of our day and capture it for us. If you are on the fence about a live painting experience - this is your sign, BOOK HER ASAP!!! We are forever Heathers biggest fans.
