Soft Serve Photobooth is a boutique DSLR photobooth experience designed to bring energy, style, and unforgettable moments to weddings and celebrations. Based in Washington, D.C., we create elevated photo experiences that feel more like a mini portrait studio than a traditional photobooth. With professional DSLR cameras and studio lighting, we capture crisp, flattering images couples and their guests love. Photos are delivered instantly via text or email, and couples receive a full digital gallery after the event. Serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

    The best Photo Booth in the DMV!

    I booked Soft Serve for my wedding in August of 2025 and it was the best decision I could make! Marta was attentive, professional and even put together a creative overview to ensure everything reflected our wedding theme and tone. I will definitely be booking again for future events.

A: We typically arrive 1- 1.5 hours before your rental start time to ensure everything is perfectly set up and ready to go. If your venue has particular load-in/set up needs, we can work with you and your event coordinator for a seamless set up.
A: Our standard wedding package includes 4 hours of photo booth time, with an option to add more or less hours available.
A: Yes! All of our wedding packages include a professional and friendly booth attendant(s) to assist guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. Depending on event capacity, we may staff two attendants for your event for smooth flow.
A: Absolutely. We can incorporate your names, wedding date, monogram, or even your custom wedding logo into your design. We will work with you to design a custom photo template to match your wedding colors and overall vibe.
A: Yes! Unlimited prints of photos taken are available as an add-on. We offer both 2x6 photo strips and 4x6 postcard-style layouts for you to choose from for printing.
A: Guests can receive their photos instantly via text or QR code, and you’ll also receive a full online gallery within 24 hours of the event. High-quality prints are also available on-site within seconds. We offer unlimited printing during the event, ensuring each guest can take home a tangible keepsake.
A: A $200 non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 15 days before your event.
A: Our main service area includes weddings and other events throughout D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. We are also available to travel.
A: We require a space of approximately 10 ft. wide × 10 ft. deep × 10 ft. high and a stable Wi-Fi connection. We also recommend placing the booth in an easily accessible area with enough room for guests to comfortably gather and enjoy the experience.
A: Yes, we carry liability insurance and can provide proof if your venue requires it. ​
A: We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your date, especially during peak wedding season. Ideally, at least 1 month in advance is advisable.
