Hi! I'm Laurie. Thanks for choosing Purple Tulip Design for your florals! I am a studio floral artist with over 30 years of wedding and event floral design experience. I first started creating wedding flowers in college for my friends and I have been more recently blessed with the opportunity to take on the life of a full time designer! My ideal bride and groom trust my abilities and my process, and are comfortable with changes to the plan as nature will have it. If this is you, let's make your wedding flower dreams come true!

My pledge is that I will truly listen to your wishes so that you get exactly what you want. Your style may not be my style, and that's okay. My goal is to make your flower planning as smooth as possible. I am very particular about every little detail and often hand-pick flowers from my suppliers, create the bride’s bouquet myself and provide professional delivery & setup or an expertly cool-packed wedding-in-a-box for you to pick up. The details matter, and we do our best to make sure it is all as perfect as nature will allow. I look forward to working with you!

    Best Florist is NOCO

    Genuinely Kind Florist

    Laurie is a genuinely kind person who prayed over our wedding and marriage. She created some of the best florals I have ever seen and worked with me to make them match the floral arrangements I created myself. Her attention to detail is incredible and she included little pearls into my bouquet to match the arrangements I made. Laurie even helped me by reaching out to my venue herself to figure out when to drop off flowers and was extremely flexible when I had her deliver them to an Airbnb nearby. She was extremely easy to work with and made the florals a part of my wedding day that I didn't have to worry about.

    Wonderful Experience! Highly Recommend!

    Purple Tulip Design did the flowers for my daughter's wedding. My daughter had a fairly non-standard color request, and Laurie delivered. The flowers were amazing! We couldn't have been happier. Laurie was easy to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending Purple Tulip Designs. I would definitely use them again.

    Best wedding vendor we worked with!

    I can't recommend Laurie (Purple Tulip Design) highly enough! She did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and they were truly the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. On top of that, Laurie was so reasonably priced and she is an absolute gem to work with. She brought such kindness and peace to the wedding day, and we were blessed by both her stunning creations and her sweet spirit. Choosing Purple Tulip was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process!

We do not offer live mock ups. However, if you provide an inspiration picture, we can usually come really close to replicating it, unless it is AI generated with things that don't exist...
We service the entire front range from Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming to Pueblo, Colorado. We also service the Red Feather Lakes area, North Eastern Colorado and the I-70 Corridor into the mountains, so places like Golden, Breckenridge, Winterpark, Vail etc. We deliver and charge by the mile outside of our local 20 mile radius.
Your 15 minute Discovery Call will cover the very basics like color and overall style. Your formal Planning Consultation will last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes. We will spend our time learning about all of your desired details, and creating a complete design plan for the flowers for your wedding. We appreciate it if you come prepared with inspo pictures, color palette, specific likes and dislikes. There is no such thing as too much information at this point. We collect a fee for Formal Consultations that is 100% applied to your total at booking.
Yes! Our virtual planning sessions fit into a tighter timeframe than in person sessions and are accessible from anywhere in the world, and we still meet 'face to face'! We can do virtual calls for both the Discovery Call and your Formal Planning Call.
Sorry, we do not offer flower preservation. However, we’re happy to recommend a few local vendors who provide this service. Just let us know.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day. If you are on a tight timeline, reach out and we will see what we can do!
We offer a complimentary Discovery Call that pairs with our Planning Form so you can get a ballpark idea of what your total spend will be. After that we charge a $100 Sitting Fee for our more structured Planning or Consultation Call. This fee is fully applied to your balance upon booking with us. This fee also holds your date while we put your formal quote together. It is otherwise nonrefundable.
Yes. We are happy to provide full-service delivery with setup for all orders $2500 and above.
