Hi! I'm Laurie. Thanks for choosing Purple Tulip Design for your florals! I am a studio floral artist with over 30 years of wedding and event floral design experience. I first started creating wedding flowers in college for my friends and I have been more recently blessed with the opportunity to take on the life of a full time designer! My ideal bride and groom trust my abilities and my process, and are comfortable with changes to the plan as nature will have it. If this is you, let's make your wedding flower dreams come true!
My pledge is that I will truly listen to your wishes so that you get exactly what you want. Your style may not be my style, and that's okay. My goal is to make your flower planning as smooth as possible. I am very particular about every little detail and often hand-pick flowers from my suppliers, create the bride’s bouquet myself and provide professional delivery & setup or an expertly cool-packed wedding-in-a-box for you to pick up. The details matter, and we do our best to make sure it is all as perfect as nature will allow. I look forward to working with you!

Genuinely Kind Florist
Laurie is a genuinely kind person who prayed over our wedding and marriage. She created some of the best florals I have ever seen and worked with me to make them match the floral arrangements I created myself. Her attention to detail is incredible and she included little pearls into my bouquet to match the arrangements I made. Laurie even helped me by reaching out to my venue herself to figure out when to drop off flowers and was extremely flexible when I had her deliver them to an Airbnb nearby. She was extremely easy to work with and made the florals a part of my wedding day that I didn't have to worry about.

Purple Tulip Design did the flowers for my daughter's wedding. My daughter had a fairly non-standard color request, and Laurie delivered. The flowers were amazing! We couldn't have been happier. Laurie was easy to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending Purple Tulip Designs. I would definitely use them again.

Best wedding vendor we worked with!
I can't recommend Laurie (Purple Tulip Design) highly enough! She did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and they were truly the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. On top of that, Laurie was so reasonably priced and she is an absolute gem to work with. She brought such kindness and peace to the wedding day, and we were blessed by both her stunning creations and her sweet spirit. Laurie did the most amazing job. We only had one meeting and she was super organized even during her busy season. She was excellent with communication! I myself did not really know what I wanted and she helped me create my ideal vision. When it came to the wedding day she arrived early and set up all of the flowers and they looked radiant!
