Lead Designer

Storm and Stem is a Fairfield county florist, specializing in garden style and modern floral design for showers, rehearsals, and small to medium sized weddings. The owner and lead designer, Laura, is trained at the New York Botanical Garden floral design program and approaches each event with meticulous attention to detail.

We focus on boutique and highly curated design. Our florals are elevated, textured, and New England inspired emphasizing the soft natural movement of the stems. Most of all, our approach is very personal. Your wedding is once-in-a-lifetime. We treat it that way, with our time, attention and genuine investment in your day.

Beautiful Arrangements
We loved working with Laura from Storm and Stem! She is so communicative and her arrangements are absolutely stunning. I don’t know much about flowers but she always delivers something we love! I would highly recommend working with Laura!

Perfect floral arrangements!
Storm and Stem created 3 really beautiful floral arrangements for the launch party for my business. I don’t know a ton about flowers or floral decor but Laura did such a great job of transforming my many thoughts and Pinterest boards into arrangements that really made my colors and themes come to life and perfectly complemented the other decor. Loved my experience working with Laura and will definitely work with her again!

Stunning, seasonal, and true to our vision
Laura of Storm and Stem exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Her designs are incredibly intricate and detailed, and every arrangement felt like a work of art. She has such deep knowledge of what’s in season, and her flower selection was thoughtful and beautiful throughout. What really stood out was how well she listened and translated our vision into reality. The final result felt personal and exactly what we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better florist and highly recommend her for any event.

Fabulous Florals!
I've used Storm & Stem for multiple events. The flowers are the highest quality and last long after the end of the events. Laura has such a beautiful and creative eye! The table arrangements I've received have been absolutely stunning! Definitely planning on doing a stem bar for my next event!

Highly Recommend Storm & Stem!
Laura at Storm & Stem curated the most perfect arrangements for my baby shower! There was a beautiful variety of fresh flowers and greenery that lasted for what seemed like forever. She’s highly responsive and professional…definitely will be using her again and again!
