Marie Pauly is the Owner of Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design and Tim Pauly, her husband is Co-Owner. Right from the beginning Tim and I were inseparable and it was obvious we would be together forever. After marrying in 1980, we moved to the small western suburbs to raise our children and opened “The Wildflower” shop in 1989, which specialized in silk arrangements and gifts. Trends changed and The Wildflower slowly rebranded into Wild Orchid and focused specifically on fresh floral design. From weddings to sympathy arrangements; Wild Orchid grew with referrals and to this day prides itself on satisfied client referrals. I strive to treat each couple as if they were my own family and work to make their big day everything they dreamed of and more. My better-half, Tim, serves as the backbone to Wild Orchid with his behind the scenes dedication to the business. He helps with wedding day logistics to make sure everything arrives en-tact and also creates custom decor elements for various events.

Beautiful Florals and Communicative Business
Marie at Wild Orchid is incredible! She was very skilled in providing exactly what we asked for, as well as providing knowledge and expertise about some areas where we were struggling to make decisions. We had bouquets, 1 corsage, large hydrangea arrangements, and large white rose arrangements, as well as a considerable amount of baby's breath for decoration, all of which were breathtakingly beautiful. Marie is accessible and knowledgeable, and we would highly recommend hiring her!

I cannot recommend Marie from Wild Orchid enough! As the bride, I’ve known Marie for years, and there was no one else I trusted more to bring my wedding florals to life. She absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, Marie was attentive, kind, and truly listened to my vision. On our wedding day (11/2/24), the florals were breathtaking — they were everything I had imagined and more! Every detail, from the bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, was perfect and beautifully crafted. I’m beyond grateful for Marie’s talent, professionalism, and the personal touch she brought to our special day. Thank you, Marie, for making my dream wedding come true! Love you!

Beautiful Work
Marie and her Team make magic happen. Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. Marie is who I mainly spoke to and she is so easy to work with . She understood the vision we had for our day and made it come to life. 11/10 would recommend Wild Orchid !! ️
