You’re Getting Married! We’re so happy you’re here. Your wedding day should feel like you, and your hair and makeup should be a fun part of getting ready, not another thing to worry about. Every wedding is different, so we take the time to get to know you, talk through your ideas, look at your inspiration, and figure out what will work best for you. We’re an inclusive bridal team and enthusiastically welcome LGBTQIA+ couples and all kinds of love stories. And on the wedding day, we come to you. You can stay in your pajamas a little longer, hang out with your favorite people, drink your coffee, and let us handle the beauty part. Basically, you get to enjoy getting ready with your people while we make everyone look really, really good.

Our signature is soft, polished, romantic, and wearable. We’re not really a full glam team, and you won’t find a lot of heavy contour, dramatic cut creases, or super full coverage here. If you want to look like yourself, just a little more fabulous, you’re in the right place.

Book Alder!
Kristen and her team were magical!! They perfectly executed the inspiration that my bridesmaids and I had! We all felt so beautiful and special thanks to their wonderful work. On top of their talent for hair and makeup, the teams’ communication and timing was spot on. I highly recommend!!

Felt Beautiful!
Makaila and Corena were fabulous to work with for my wedding day! My bridal party and I felt absolutely beautiful and comfortable through out the day. I'd highly recommend Alder to anyone looking for beauty services in SW Michigan!

Alder Hair Co. was a pleasure to work with for our wedding day. From our first consultation, the team was friendly, open, and easy to communicate with, answering all of our questions and providing helpful advice. The quality of their work was simply stunning - the hairstyles they created for myself and my bridesmaids were beautiful, easy to manage, and made us all feel so confident on the big day. Bride
Kristen did hair for my August wedding and she did a great job! I had a few inspiration photos and we tried quite a few things during my trial before I picked what I wanted. She was so patient and experienced, the whole process was really great. She worked with straight hair, curly hair, and extensions with ease. My hair doesn’t hold curl well so she pinned it for a while after curling it on the day of and it held much longer than I expected! I would absolutely recommend her to any future brides.

Bridal Hair of My Dreams
I told Corena I want her to do my hair everyday because she made me feel like an absolute princess on my wedding day. I was simply in love with my hair! She also did all of my bridesmaids’ hair and each of them looked stunning. Corena was so sweet and everyone in the studio was so friendly when I went to my trial. I highly recommend Alder Hair Studio to future brides!
