    Jewel is a Gem

    Jewel was my wedding planner's first recommendation, so I took her word and looked her up. One look at her portfolio and I was sold. I booked Jewel for my engagement shoot, which was one of very few professional makeup experiences, and she made me feel so beautiful that there was no question she'd be doing my wedding day too. She's personable, professional, and an absolute artist. Jewel understood what I wanted, matched my skin perfectly, and gave me a look that exceeded my vision while still looking like me. On the big day, she was right on time with her assistant, did my bridal party, and brought a calming presence to the getting-ready morning. She even sent me off with a touch-up kit (which I somehow left behind, but my bridesmaids held me down). Honestly, I barely needed it. Aside from a little lip touch-up, my makeup lasted all day and photographed beautifully. I felt confident, I felt like myself, and I felt beautiful from start to finish.     The best Makeup Artist in Raleigh!

    Canvas The Makeup Studio was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. On the day of, their team of talented artists delivered flawless, perfect makeup that looked beautiful and lasted all day and night. They were so attentive, constantly checking in to make sure I was happy with how everything looked, and even took the time to touch up my bridal party throughout the wedding.
