    Working with Alex in Swansboro

    I worked with Alex on a beautiful summer wedding in Swansboro. Coming from a fellow wedding vendor, working with Alex was wonderful. Her team's communication was timely and responsive throughout the entire planning process. On the day of, Alex managed the flow seamlessly and went out of her way to help with setup and all aspects of the event. As a wedding photographer, what stood out was how kind and supportive Alex and her team were to the couple, but also to other vendors. They were available whenever we needed guidance or a quick decision when a pivot was needed, aided in setup, managed guests and the flow of the day well, and were a great team to work with. I highly recommend Alex and her team if you are looking for a wonderful planner for your wedding day.

    Great vendor to work with!

    As a wedding vendor myself, Lexi was very professional. She kept in contact with me throughout the planning process, making sure I had everything I needed for the wedding day. On the wedding day when the weather was looking bad, she did everything she could to make sure it didn’t disrupt the entire day! She was a great vendor to work with!

    Would not Recommend

    Really, just save yourself the headache. Unfortunately, I experienced a very inexperienced and, after the wedding, nasty side of Lexi/Sulli Styled Events. I planned an enormous amount of my wedding myself and provided the details and items needed for the day. Despite that, multiple things were not executed as discussed. Items I spent considerable time and money making remained boxed at the venue and now in my garage afterward because they were never put out. Details were missed, decoration was misplaced, signage/favors were not properly displayed, and there were coordination issues throughout the day. What has bothered me even more is the response afterward. I initially addressed my concerns privately and constructively because I had no desire to hurt another woman’s small business. I specifically gave feedback about things that could be improved for future weddings. Instead of simply learning from the experience and moving forward, my eventual public review has now resulted in multiple public statements defending the service and emphasizing all the things supposedly done “outside the contract.” One example given was moving furniture. This is particularly confusing to me because in our conversations it was repeatedly discussed that the ceremony space would be flipped into the reception space. Moving the necessary chairs/tables to accomplish that was therefore not some unexpected favor from my perspective, it was part of how I understood the agreed-upon plan for the day would be executed. I completely understand that coordination has a defined scope and I never expected someone to magically handle things they were never hired or asked to do. My dissatisfaction is with the execution of the plans we did discuss and the level of preparation and coordination I experienced. I also don’t expect perfection. Other vendors from my wedding received feedback from me, acknowledged where things could have gone better, and moved forward professionally. That is all I ever wanted here. Unfortunately, instead of feeling heard, this has turned into public statements and defensiveness months after my wedding. I wish my experience had been different, but future brides deserve to hear both the business’s account and the experience of a paying client. This was mine.

    So professional!!

    Alexandra was so professional at our styled shoot. She was prepared for the event, and was excellent at communication. As a photographer, I will be recommending her for all of the brides I work with. She is a hard worker and calm and diligent. Thank you Sulli Styled Events!

I’m the owner of Sulli Styled Events LLC, so most of my couples work directly with me as their lead coordinator on the wedding day. Being hands-on with my clients is very important to me, and I’m deeply involved in the planning and coordination process to make sure everything reflects the vision we’ve built together. Each package also includes one assistant coordinator for weddings with up to 200 guests, so we have the support needed to manage vendors, timelines, guest needs, and all the behind-the-scenes details smoothly.
Yes. If I am already booked on your date, I have a trusted team of trained assistant coordinators who are fully capable of leading events on their own. They follow the same systems, standards, and level of care that I’ve established for Sulli Styled Events, so you can feel confident you’re still receiving the same high-quality experience and seamless coordination my company is known for.
The amount of time we spend together really depends on the package you choose, since each level of service includes a different amount of planning support. With both packages, I offer open communication via email and text for any wedding-related questions that come up along the way. The Full Service Planning package includes more one-on-one time with me, along with additional meetings throughout the planning process. This allows us to dive deeper into design, logistics, vendor coordination, and all the details to make sure your wedding day is planned exactly as you’ve envisioned.
